Stop Drive button when pressing back button in android
I hope this email finds you well. As an avid user of the Waze app, I appreciate the features it offers for navigation and traffic updates. However, I'd like to suggest an improvement to the user interface that could make the navigation experience even more seamless.
When using Waze in "explore mode," there is no blue route line, which is great for browsing the map and selecting destinations. However, when a route is started and the app switches to "navigation mode," pressing the Android OS "arrow back" button only offers two options: "cancel" or "shutdown". While I understand there are alternative ways to cancel a route, pressing the back button feels like a more natural and intuitive action, when we are in driving mode.
To enhance the user experience, I propose adding a third option in "navigation mode" called "Stop current Route" or "Stop Drive" or "Stop Navigation". This would allow users to quickly and easily cancel their current route without having to go through multiple steps. Implementing this small change could lead to a smoother and more enjoyable experience for Waze users, ultimately increasing user satisfaction and loyalty.
Thank you for considering my suggestion. I believe this improvement can greatly benefit the Waze community, and I look forward to seeing it implemented in future updates.
