Why is waze demanding my date of birth?
Waze displayed a screen demanding my date of birth while I was driving and using it for navigation. This screen cannot be closed and reappears when Waze is restarted. I consider this both an unwarranted invasion of privacy and more importantly HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE of your programmers to make this occur while the app is in use in a moving vehicle. I have used Waze for many years and recommended it to many friends and colleagues. I am now however being forced to stop using Waze unless I comply with this unwarranted data demand.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am trying to use WAZE but cannot as the screen is taken up with a request for my DOB which I refuse to enter. They state that Google requires it with some nonsense about it being a legal requirement. I now find I have to set up an account before I can enter anything here! How can one contact who ever organises this?

i cannot enter the dob I just get an instruction to insert my dob and I cannot close the screen - it says okay but its greyed out and I cant change it
