Bridge opening
We have a lot of draw/lift bridges in the area and it would be nice if we could either report the bridge opening as a "Wazer" or if there was a way to gather that info from the web to auto generate on our app.

I asked Grok to write an app so that drivers will know when the bridges crossing the intracoastal in my area are up or down, delaying traffic. It showed me how to write it and then I asked if Waze can incorporate this in their great app. So we would love to add that to your algorithm.

We should be able to report when a lift bridge is up. I cannot believe Waze does not have this option.
Or some sort of collaboration with the “Marine Traffic” app so that people can see when boats are approaching bridges. -

This is also a major problem in East Boston, either entering or exiting. There are 2 bridges that cross the Chelsea creek into and out of “Eastie”. They are the only way in and out, other than lengthy and time-consuming routes. When one bridge is up, it takes anywhere from 10 to sometimes 30 minutes to come back down and open for traffic. The problem is that motorists can’t see which way the ships are going, and often try to get to the other one before it goes up. Sometimes unnecessarily, sometimes they don’t make it which makes it twice as bad. Rarely can a driver make it across the second bridge in time. They are only 1/2 mile apart. If the app could inform motorists approximate times that the bridge went up or down, and which way the ships are traveling, it would help them to decide whether it would be a wiser decision to wait it out, or if they can safely make it to the other bridge in time. The interactive feature would work well, as motorists waiting at a drawbridge don’t have much else to do, and Eastie residents & commuters share equally, the misery of these two bridges and their ***** ships.

I completely with the Bridge lifts. We have 5 in our area that lift frequently. It would be nice to see this on the app so I can go a different route.

I think waze needs an option to add when traffic lights are out. This is a HUGE problem. You cOuld say when pointmens are on duty as well. Also when there protests and riots. Several times waze led me directly into a protest because the road was empty of cars.

Pretty please Waze!! I was delayed by 35 minutes yesterday waiting for a draw bridge near Boston. The heavy traffic button is not enough. Waze should reroute when bridges are up.

Add een opttion to allert Users when a bridge is open. When iT is closed the waze user can have that you can drive again over the bridge.

I live in Seattle and we have half a dozen draw bridges in the area. The Waze app has led me to be stuck and waiting for bridges to go down on more than one occasion, so it would be great if Wazers could report when the bridges go up and when they go back down.
