I absolutely love Waze except the fact you can't use it like Google maps and use it in a floating window... Until y'all have this feature unfortunately I have to use Google maps... So please add that feature!!

When using the application for navigation, it should integrate with the iPhone cutout like the maps or the Spotify app does.
This allows us to be in another screen temporarily and still receive navigation information and to switch back quickly.

So, any updates on this?! Users need it very much, this is the reason why i still prefer google maps in most of the cases. This is not a rocket science to make it, but you are losing users because of the absence of this feature.

Dear Team, Please implement this 10-15 years old feature, as we are forced to use for example in Android Auto head units to use Maps.com ... That is a much worse navigation overall, but also has the right PIP option. Please.. a few lines in the code and add it to the newest manifest. That would be all. Not rocket science. Ridiculous that you blocked the vote button, not sure what is behind that you don't enable this!!! It would give much more security on the roads too, so it would just run as a resizable floating window and we would NOT need to touch the taskbar change buttons while driving and changing between eg dashcam and waze. Why waze cannot run above the dashcam view, just as Maps.com .

Why the vote button is inactive?

This feature alone would stop me from using Google maps. I think you'll have more adoption just by adding it.
