If there is an animal by the side of the road, then you should be able to quickly add that to a map so that other drivers could benefit from that information before they drove by.

After you leave a particular spot, you are no longer allowed to offer warnings or other relevant information that other drivers would benefit from. Case in point: I wanted to comment that there was a rabbit by the side of our road so that other drivers would become aware of that animal before they drove by. However, once I passed that part of the road I was no longer able to write that comment.
