Hear a ping sound 200m before a turn since I tend to miss the turn when “alert only” is on.
“Sound on” is a nuisance to conversations and listening to music, radio.

Exactly. Sound on is talking too much, Alerts only is almost ideal, but is missing a sound for turning. It is a pity this picked up only 2 voices in 1.5 years.
Ideal solution would be a slider for choosing how much talking should be done (0=silent, 1=alerts only, 2=brief talking, 3=detailed talking) and also configuring each alert level (so i can decide whether i want to hear "reduced speed limit upcoming" in alert only mode or only in detailed mode only).
