Was going to my friends house early this morning and police had the main road closed. This had just happened and wasn't going to take long enough for a detour to be put in place and I was so close to my friends house Waze gave no additional routes as options. Luckily I new the area enough to know what to do but I know things like this happen everyday across the country. It would be nice to have a feature that lets you choose a road or distance to avoid for these situations. Typically Waze gives you multiple options for route and I know it refreshes once you're off route but usually in these situations the suggestions don't avoid the closed off road at all or the refresh route assumes you know what you're doing and could take you a lot further then you need to go then if you had turned right instead of left after turning around at the closure. Usually you'll turn around and then choose a direction and Waze will refresh a mile down that road or so which is great that it does this but again could have been much quicker had you gone the other way and its too late now. also choosing routes at this point will usually just give you the option of the closure and the direction you're going. Not sure how to implement this but that's why I'm contacting you instead of programming it myself. Thanks and love your app!!!
