Ok, so 6+ years ago it was in the too hard basket to make a truck route...
How about just collect data from people who want to add road closures to already set routes but so long as the vehicle type is set for truck/RV. Effectively it would be a clone overlay of map guides but over time with the community help it would create itself and within days to start with.
I would happily help through the teething issues within the first few months of individually adding closure roads to route if it meant that the route was more precise and made my job easier for planned routes.
If we started this 6+ years ago by now we'd have a pretty substantial map set out and I would happily pay for that experience as no other app even Tom Tom offers the experience Waze does.
