Alert "Traffic ahead" not helping...
The voice alert "Traffic ahead" should be hear at least 5 seconds before the traffic. Otherwise it misses the point - I can see the traffic by myself...
If it comes sooner it could help preventing unnecessary emergency brakes

It warns me of traffic jams FAR too late to detour around them! Failing this, I'm stuck in traffic that the app knew about and the only (marginally useful) information I have is how long I'm going to be stuck in it. Tell me well before the last exit before the tie-up, preferably two exits. Offer re-routes.

The jam always seems to begin just after an exit and there is often a fairly convenient detour.

If there is a traffic slow down of greater than 0.5 miles to less than 30% of the posted speed limit, a notification should be sent far enough in advance to allow the user to choose another route, even if it takes longer. I have traffic jams enabled but do not receive advance notification until it’s too late and I am stuck.
