Account and Login - Login-Info (in the waze app)
When I create an account using the “Account and Login” section in the Waze app (not the regular “Sign Up” option), I manually enter my email, username, date of birth, and password. I had to use this method because the regular sign-up process on the login page didn’t work — it didn’t actually create an account.
I first set this up on my car using the “Account and Login” method. Later, when I tried to log into that account on my phone, it worked and seemed to create an account using the phone and not car method even though I done it on the car first. But now, when I try to enter the same email and password on my car again, it says the email is already in use by someone else.
It’s a bit confusing, but it seems like the account wasn’t properly created until I logged in on my phone using the “Account and Login” way.
Way to fix this:
Remove the SMS/Email verification, because it doesn’t actually send, or re-do it to send.
When you answer the questions in the Waze App on the Account and Login section, let it create the account.
Need to re-do login or sign-in without actually creating the account through the login page, if that is the case.
