Option to Disable Auto-Rerouting After Route Is Set
Hello,
I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to disable automatic rerouting after setting a route.
As a driver, it’s not always possible (or safe) to constantly check the device to notice when Waze changes the route and tap “No thanks” in time to stay on the original path.
There are countries where you must follow a specific route due to legal or financial reasons — for example, vignette zones, road restrictions, or toll obligations. When Waze changes the route automatically, it can cause problems such as fines, invalid route logs, or entering roads not suitable for the vehicle.
It would be extremely useful to have a setting like:
“Lock this route — do not suggest or apply alternatives automatically.”

I was taking an 8 hour drive and mid-drive it would swap to a route without prompt that added almost a whole hour to my trip… multiple times. I don’t want to/can’t always click the screen while I’m driving and would like to have it save my preferred route or just stick to the route I’m on instead of assuming I wanted to take the other option (assuming it was following the fastest roads despite it added miles to my trip). It would be so nice to just tell it not to prompt me after selecting a route or have it ask if I wanted it to auto reroute before I start the drive for times I wanted the extra help on finding efficient routes.

Definitely don't want the app rerouting once I've decided a route. I can always use the routes feature and make a change when I want, not the when the app wants... Please make this change.
