Roundabout display 2d and zoom out
Waze is a great app, but it has a significant drawback — especially when driving in the UK.
The interface elements (such as the arrow and road layout) are too large, which makes it hard to read, particularly at roundabouts. What’s even more problematic is that the view remains in 3D and doesn’t switch to an overhead 2D perspective like Google Maps does, which would make navigating roundabouts much easier.
Additionally, when slowing down, Waze doesn’t seem to handle speed reduction well — the position appears to lag by a few seconds. As a result, it often looks like you’re approaching the previous exit, increasing the risk of taking the wrong turn.
Implementing a zoomed-in 2D view when approaching roundabouts, along with a cleaner on-screen layout, could significantly improve the experience
