I’m reaching out to introduce Alive Alert, a patent-pending system designed to bring verified, real-time hazard alerts directly into driver navigation platforms — without relying on crowdsourced reports.
Alive Alert ensures that drivers are automatically notified when approaching active road construction, utility work, or other roadway hazards. Unlike existing systems that depend on user reports, alerts through Alive Alert originate only from licensed contractors or agencies with valid permits.
When a construction permit is issued, the designated alert zone and activation window are set by the permit office. Once the job is awarded, the contractor is granted secure access to activate alerts only when crews are physically present on site. This real-time confirmation helps ensure drivers receive accurate, trusted alerts exactly when it matters.
In addition, crews operating in high-risk roadside environments — such as litter pickup teams, utility crews, or tow operators — can use a mobile beacon to broadcast their presence to approaching drivers. Vehicles like street sweepers, buses, and emergency responders can transmit directional, moving alerts, enabling GPS systems to visualize their position and give drivers advance notice to slow down or make room.
Alive Alert integrates with existing navigation infrastructure and is built for scalability across city, state, and fleet-level systems.
