For a while the split screen in Android is not the best way to use Waze. The location and route are hidden.

I have been using Android Head-Unit since 2021 and the best application for navigation was Waze for some time, till sometime last year when an update broke the rendering with notifications and now completely put my car position and route outside the display. I usually use split-screen as the display is shared between Waze and another application.

Previously (last year), the car position and route was hidden by messages, but after canceling the message, I was still able to see the route.

Now, the car position and route are outside display, making the application useless

If we compare it with Google Maps for example, you will see what I am talking about. On Google Maps the car position and route is visible and centered, but on Waze, the car position is on far right, behind the report button.

If the Waze is the only application displayed on AHU, everything is okay, even if the position and route is pushed far to the right. However, I would expect the speed and the speed limit to be more visible and to the left + the car position and the route centered and not covered by any message. Now the messages are displayed on the left side, just above the route details and are not interacting with car position and route.
