Support for dimensions and combinations such as caravans
I propose that Waze allows users to save multiple vehicles, each with their own dimensions, including height, width, and length. It should also be possible to add vehicle combinations, such as a car with a caravan or trailer, where the additional dimensions are automatically taken into account during route planning.
Users could then manually select the appropriate vehicle or combination before starting a trip, or Waze could automatically detect the vehicle via CarPlay or Android Auto.
It is essential that Waze takes infrastructure limitations into account—such as bridge heights, narrow roads, sharp turns, and low tunnels—so that any routes that could pose a risk based on the vehicle’s dimensions are automatically avoided. This would make Waze a more reliable option for drivers of larger or specialized vehicles.

Bonjour,
Serait-il possible d'intégré aux paramètre du véhicule sa largeur et hauteur afin d'éviter les routes à largeur ou hauteur limitée.
Merci d'avance
Bien cordialement -

I live in rural Kent in the UK and I am constantly being sent down very narrow roads with no passing places. I would rather stick to the main roads even if it takes me a few minutes more. Please put "avoid narrow roads" in your roadmap. Please please please. I used to love using Waze before I moved here but I cannot make it work for me. Google maps seems better but still not perfect. Surely you can do this small update as you will have the mapping data on how wide roads are

I would like to insert my car parameters ( I have 18 tons camper) with bigger dimensions, just to avoid low bridegs and weight limited roads, if we can get it, I'm sure the truck drivers will start to use waze as well.

Podríais poner en la app la manera de poder meter las medidas de los vehículos para que no nos meta por calles que luego no podemos salir? Gracias

Please add three values to segments, maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight. All segments should default to 0.
Please add user settings of maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight. They should default to 0. The label should direct the user to enter their height/width in metres and weight in tonnes.
When reviewing a navigation route, check if there is a value of maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight exceeding 0. If there is a value, cross-check the users maxHeight, maxWidth, maxWeight is lower.
If the users value is higher than the segment value, disregard that segment as a navigation option.
This would help users of a wide range of vehicles, from large SUVs to vans to trucks to buses to help them not receive navigation along routes with low bridges, forced height restrictions, narrow roads, forced width restrictions, weak bridges, no truck zones... it would even be possible for a driver of a nervous disposition to avoid that low bridge that makes them feel uneasy, or poor quality drivers avoid the width restrictions they may not be able to navigate well.
At this moment, such drivers get routes that they cannot or will not take, and deters the usefulness of the routes suggested by Waze. By having this option, users have the choice of not being navigated along roads that don't meet their requirements.
There are a LOT of similar requests on uservoice, but none have progressed to consideration of being included which appears to be a major missed opportunity, particularly since a lot of users are delivery drivers in vans, families in RVs, large SUV drivers, all of which are being provided with inappropriate navigation suggestions.
