Feature request: Waze navigation directions on Mazda Active Driving Display via Apple CarPlay

I own a 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature equipped with Mazda’s Active Driving Display (HUD). When using Waze through Apple CarPlay, navigation directions are displayed on the main infotainment screen but are not shown on the vehicle’s HUD.

Apple Maps and Google Maps are able to provide navigation information to compatible vehicle displays through CarPlay. I would like to request that Waze implement support for sending turn-by-turn navigation metadata to compatible HUDs and instrument clusters through Apple CarPlay.

At the moment, I am using Google Maps instead of Waze because I would like to have navigation directions available on the Active Driving Display. However, I would prefer to use Waze as my primary navigation app due to its excellent real-time traffic information and community-based incident reporting.

This feature would significantly improve safety and usability, as drivers could follow navigation instructions without taking their eyes away from the road.
