Keep navigation instructions in a fixed position when alerts appear
When using Waze through Android Auto, the next-turn navigation instructions are normally displayed in the upper-left corner of the car screen, showing the next maneuver and the remaining distance.
However, when a Waze alert appears (speed camera, hazard, police, etc.), the alert takes that position and the navigation instructions are moved to the right.
In areas with many alerts, this becomes quite distracting while driving. The navigation instructions keep changing position on the screen, so instead of being able to quickly glance at the same location to see the next turn, you have to look for where the instructions have moved.
I think the navigation instructions should always remain in a fixed position, since they are the most important information while following a route.
Alerts could temporarily replace or move another less critical element instead. For example, the destination/ETA information shown in the lower-left corner could be moved or temporarily replaced when an alert appears.
The main idea is simple: the next-turn instructions and distance should always stay in the same place on the screen, regardless of alerts.
This would make Waze on Android Auto less distracting and much easier to follow, especially when driving through areas with frequent alerts
