Don't require location to use Waze, unless the user is seeking directions
I tried using the Waze app on my Android phone. It kept insisting that I must turn on my location. If I were in need of directions I would turn on my location. All I was trying to do was to check traffic in the area. This insistence of having my location on just to open the app is kind of frustrating, so I uninstalled it and went back to Google Maps.
Before I uninstalled it, I did temporarily turn on location and tried to use it. It is not what I would consider 'intuitive'. At least not from the stance of a Google Maps user.
