Speed camera icons disappear on Android Auto when Auto-Zoom zooms out above ~100 km/h
With Auto-Zoom enabled on Android Auto, the map zooms out as driving speed increases. Above roughly 100 km/h the speed camera icons stop being drawn on the map. At lower speeds, on the same roads and for the same cameras, they are displayed normally, and they reappear as soon as the map zooms back in.
This is inverted relative to the purpose of the feature. The camera marker matters most on open highways at 100-140 km/h, where reaction time is short, and least in slow urban traffic, which is exactly where it currently still works. I drive mainly in the UAE, where fixed speed cameras are densely deployed and highway limits are high, so the icons disappear precisely where they are needed.
The only workaround is to turn Auto-Zoom off or fix the zoom level manually. That trades one core feature for another: you give up automatic zoom in order to keep camera visibility. Both should work together.
Steps to reproduce: connect to Android Auto with Auto-Zoom enabled, navigate on a highway with known fixed cameras, note the icons at 60-80 km/h, then go above 100 km/h and let Auto-Zoom widen the view - the icons are no longer drawn, including for cameras ahead on the active route. Slow down or zoom in manually and they come back.
Please keep speed camera icons rendered at all zoom levels, including the wider levels that Auto-Zoom itself selects at speed.
