Google Maps is starting to become superior to Waze for 'directions'.

Lane control is starting to become an elephant in the room for Waze.

To avoid re-drawing all our maps, it would be ideal to have 'cross system intelligence' when it comes route directions.

Waze selects the route and where 'lane control/lane choice' instructions exist for route segments, we use the Gmaps 'intelligence' to enhance Waze provided directions.

These added instructions would enhance and improve the Waze experience.

Now that waze belongs to Google, why is it not possible to open a location shared via Google maps? Also I miss the possibility to use the favorites I've saved in Google maps.
Would be nice you could implement that.

It would be good to see the route alternatives, with time and mileage including delays as an option when planning a route.as of a click for same Route Return option.
Also need Google maps traffic light road colours for a quick glance.
A view like waze live map should be integrated, then no speed data is taken as you look over the map or add friends.

I find Waze the best for navigating a particular route but Google Maps much better when searching along the route for say places to stop. Why not have a toggle switch to go back and forth between the apps using the same destination entered only once?

Can you please give an update on any plans to synchronize with / import from Google maps / Google My Places? My travel life / highlights are bookmarked there as "Favorites" und I can only migrate to Waze if I can access them. Furthermore, the whole Google workflow of finding a business, place or location with Google search and having it immediately available to bookmark or navigate to would be extremely beneficial for Waze users. Please keep us in the loop if this is on the horizon .

I hate Google maps, if Waze takes on more Google map features I'm deleting the App and never recommending it again

Google Maps account synchronization or linking.

Enable a way to plan a trip with Google Maps and export it to the Waze account or client. Like Google do sent to mobile.. POIs , routes, stopping points , rotation schedules ...

Using historical traffic of Google Maps in areas / blocks away with an insufficient amount of Waze users who oferte reliability arrival time estimate.

I use Google maps on my pc to find places and save them. It would be great if I could see those saved places in waze automatically.

Has something like this been implemented? Thank you.

This has been one of my major reasons for not using waze and continuing with google maps.

Maybe this has come up before but is it (or will it) be possible to import a route mapped in say, Don't know if this has come up before but is there, or will there, be a way to import maps from apps like Google Maps, to Waze? I happen to use Google Maps to plan motorcycle road trips. I choose a start and end location, let Google Maps plot the directions, but then I modify the route to avoid things like highways or to just make the route longer.
I use Waze as my GPS (gave my Garmin away). Though I don't interact with it when I'm riding, I do take advantage of things my felllow Wazers point out.
