Possibility to hide/minimise the 'Highlighted route' section

When on mobile landscape orientation, the highlighted route section takes up to 1/2 width and 1/3 height of the screen which impairs the complete overview of the upcoming route.

Therefore I would suggest an option to either hide the highlighted route section completely or an option minimise it to a small icon/button

It ruins my joy in Waze. Why does Waze give not giving an option to DISABLE THIS? IT MAKES DRIVING HARDER AND DANGEROUS!!!

PLEASE< DISABLE THIS OR GIVE OPTION TO DISABLE IN SETTINGS.

It would be great to have the ability to make the navigation direction box can be adjusted in the app or android auto or apple carplay itself smaller. As the current release will not take a large chunk of the screen when navigating. As well a box below whether it is navigating or not it shows the current road I am on. Please add these feature.

Roadshields are much less legible than just text. Dangerous. Change it back.

Can you make the next turn directions smaller on the display or at least let users select or customize how much space it takes up. Often times it covers up way too much of the map.

You can remove the box when using Google Maps...the company that owns Waze...by just clicking on the map when in landscape mode. With the route highlighted one really doesnt need the next turn info until you get close and you just tap the screen again.

100% needs to be removed.

Add option to remove next turns. When you use waze in landscape it uses a big part of the screen and the path you follow is moved to the right. On android navigation for cars this is bad bad bad.

Next turn banner text size when in portrait mode is large, easy to use.
But when my phone is in landscape orientation, the next turn navigation becomes TINT at the top of he screen. I can no longer read it at a glance.

I use Waze in the car on apple carplay. The info boxes, particularly the bigger box at the top, get in the way when trying to see the junctions etc. Can they be made smaller or even better, slightly transparent? This will help view the whole screen better. Thanks

When using CarPlay, map is covered with black screen with turn notification, even if it’s after 50km or so. I’m suggesting to reduce a size of that black screen as it covers 1/4 of navigation map screen. I could share a screenshot, but such an option here is not available.

The direction window is too big on Android Auto and hides the half of the map : make it smaller !

I have a navigation tesla style and direction cover half of the map. please make an option to not show direction.

Totally agree. I can’t see parts of the route for this silly big black box. Please get rid or allow us to hide it. I can’t use Waze while it’s like this.
