Give the driver the ability to add construction zones to the users. And list the speed limit in the zone.

I suggest these two items stay on map longer. Some construction zones can last years but every day the markers disappear. Pot holes also take a longtime to repair. Suggest that the time spand last 1 month and if a person post a like the month resets. If there are five thumbs downs thn the marker clears.

I think it would be awesome if we could add construction to the list. I mean like when we have a normal or regular route and there is construction have it come up and say there is construction and change the route

Add construction delays AND also fastest routes rather than apparent routes since construction delays arent experienced untill its too late

A voice reminder to slow down in a construction zone. "Construction Zone Ahead, please slow down."

1) I see Waze reports on Googlemaps. Lots of Waze accident / construction reports don't specify which direction the problem affecting. And around NYC, where there's lots of traffic jams all the time everywhere, it's hard to tell from the traffic back-ups which direction is being affected by the incident.

I just did a 2000 mile trip in the last 48hrs and noticed some additions I'd like to see.

Under the hazards-->Shoulder, can we add a few things like Roadkill, debris & construction? Even though they were on the shoulder, they potentially affected traffic but weren't "on the road".

Also would be great to add some other features like TEMPORARY speed restrictions (construction), or be able to choose specific lanes of travel that are closed.... Especially when on a major highway and they close a couple lanes (or a shoulder) to do road patches or something.

Allow for drivers to mark when workers are on the road, my local on-ramp to 280 shows it is the fastest route but actually workers were busy tearing out the cross walk section and stop/go traffic occurred with no way to report on Waze the update.

When a road is under construction, we only have the option to mark a point where the construction part is, but the construction zone could be 3 km long, so i think you could develop a feature that consists of 2 options:
- beggining of construction zone
- the end of construction zone.
You could work on the names of the options, but it would be really helpful to just indicate all the lenght of the construction zone instead of pointing from 5 to 5 meters that the road is still under construction.

sometimes there are large objects, not just animals or cars. Several times on my last trip I passed constructions items or tire treads very close to the road but still on the shoulder and I had no way to warn others about it.

Show existing holes in the streets and highways.
If we can indicate where has holes, certainly many drivers will not be surprised by them, thus avoiding damage to vehicles and also accidents in many cases with fatal victims.

Road Construction should not be buried in hazards. It takes too many steps to report. Not safe while driving.

At times I see telephone, power or cable companies working on the side of the road but it's not construction so I would like to see an option for "utility work" option under the road hazard option. Only because it's not construction or car parked on side of road

Let users report where there's a detour. Ability to track new route based on road closing/detour

At least in Bogotá, Colombia we require an alert for street holes. We have different kind of holes: black hole, crater, void..etc

Be able to report road construction that doesn't entirely shut down the road, but does disrupt traffic.

The same way we can report the traffic, it would be interesting to get to report the holes on the way and have option like "small", shake your body, "Medium" can damage the car wheel, "huge", you car can get stuck over there.

It would be useful also for the company which fixes holes on the city. ;0)

Report highway / Street constructions directly on the App - as same with speed cams - this is a needed Option - because many Constructions are still in the Client - but not on the street ;-)
