Google maps notifications for turns are better. Waze tells you too far in advance then it tells you as your passing the turn. Please make it more intuitive like at 2 miles then .25 miles the like 500 ft so you don’t miss your turn.

With the U.S. Jane voice, she should say turn left or turn right a little bit sooner approaching a turn. If its a long distance trip or at night, don't recommend going on stateroute 441. That's how people go off road and die.

As a motorcycle driver I often get the voice instructions too late. I would definitely recommend to hear them a lot sooner. This might be somewhat configurable.

Change the distance to a turn to feet at 1,000 feet. This helps disambiguate which road is the correct one when several are close together.

Please increase the turn notification distance. There isn’t enough time to react when audio tells you to make turn.

Announce turns/exits earlier since heavy traffic can prevent one from getting in the turn/exit lane in time.

I have stopped using Waze because the turn notifications are too close to intended turns and has caused us to reroute because we were in heavy traffic and too close to the turn to adjust safely. Or in rural areas we are in the intersection before Waze tells us to turn. Both Google and IPhone maps are much clearer for the intended turn.

Waze used to be my preferred map/navigation both in Europe and the U. S. I traveled for business. But after a trip to Ireland and Spain I got very frustrated with it’s sudden notices. I went to the Google or imap functions and not had this problem.

I recently ( last week) traveled to Italy and tried Waze again but turned it off because I missed two turns in one navigation event. Google worked without a hitch.

When turns are close together the app is not able to catch up quick enough. Or if your leaving the driveway it isn't clear whether to turn left or right. This issue is common as I have seen a few posts on Facebook that joke about this issue.

I agree. My partner and I are switching back to Google Maps because of this shortcoming.

When giving directions...increasing direction time to allow for maneuvering in heavy traffic.

Waze debería indicar con mas anticipacion para doblar, si el vehiculo va a alta velocidad. Por ejemplo si va a 100 Km/hora deberia avisar que en 800 metros deberemos doblar a la derecha o izquierda. En cambio si va a 50 Km/hora, bastara que nos diga que en 300 metros deberemos doblar.

Need more notice of upcoming turns. I have been missing a lot of turns lately and my passenger said see, that why I don't us Waze because of the missed turns.

I would like a voice command "REPEAT" not a touch gesture.
Not only do I need the command repeated when I can't hear properly, but often the directions are stated and by the time I get to the exit or lane split there is a choice that is not marked. I want to be able to say "REPEAT" so I know I'm selecting the correct path.

Make it user selectable.

Want to be able to have instructions repeated. Also more notice on turns in case I have to change lanes to get there.

There’s not enough advanced warning of upcoming turns, especially at highway speeds.

Google maps gives turn prompt in plenty of time to make turns.
