When searching a company along your route
when searching a company along your route, WAZE should show these findings along your route. There is yet an app to do this successfully. When your search just "gas" or "fast food" it does an amazing job but when you search "McDonald's" or "Carl's Jr" it only shows locations scattered around you not along your route. This could be very helpful for family trips to plan out stops or if in route to be able to quickly see if you need to stop right there or if there is a location worth waiting for maybe 10 miles down the freeway but closer to the freeway. Please look into this. Thank you for the work.

Yes! The same for gas stations. I was on the highway and I got 2 gas stations. The first one 20 km and the second one 30 km. I choose the first one and I was routed out from the highway, on secondary roads, 30 km to the gas station and 30 km back. The other one was 30 km away on the highway. Stupid!
When your are on your route they must show the overall distance and the distance between your current route and the searched location like: gas station 20 km (0 km from your route). -

Boa tarde! Gostaria de sugerir que no meio na rota, houvesse a opção de verificar se tem lugares especifico no meio do caminho. Por ex: Quero saber se tem uma farmácia, floricultura, e no app ativo essa opção e aparece para mim o que tem.
Obrigada

And no, Brandon, it does not do this now. When you search now, it shows everything within a radius of where you are, not along your rout.

I came here to make this same suggestion. Say, I'm on my way home from work. It's 25 miles and I want to stop at 7-11. I don't want the 7-11 closest to me. I want the 7-11 closest to my rout. I might be driving right by 3 of them, on my way, why drive 5 miles out of my way to get to the one that is closer to me now, when 15 miles down the road I am already traveling on, one is right there?

I love Waze, but there are a few things with search that are not as useful as they could be.
f I search for a name of a company with multiple locations (Walgreens, MacDonald's, etc.) the listings should be by distance, with closest first. It always seems to show corporate HQ, then random locations. For companies with many locations, this means starting a new search. -

It seems to do this, now.
