The system has road speed limit data and live GPS vehicle speed. So it can tell when you go over the limit. Currently, when that happens there is a quite subtle notification sound. I believe there should be options to have much clearer and more urgent audio warning.
I would like two options : One, I would like the option to have the limit voiced every time it changes. Very simply, go from a 40mph road into a 30mph road and I'd like to hear "Thirty". And so on for each and every change.
Secondly, I would like the option to hear a proper warning such as "Speed speed speed" if I exceed the limit. By that I mean 1 mph over, not at the limit, although there could be options for that, too. (the current options are a bit limited).
I would also like the option for the speed warning to be continuous, not just one 'ping' as at present.

Português (Brasil) Façam o Waze informar verbalmente sobre TODOS os radares, independentemente da velocidade do veículo.

Traffic cams, Police, and Road Hazards all have the option both show on maps and have audible alerts. Heavy traffic only has the option to view on the map, but no option for an alert. By the time the heavy traffic shows on the map, you're already stuck in it. It would be nice to know when to take an alternate route.

Through Bluetooth or speakers initiative by sound or voice

Add sound notification when exceeding the speed limit or approaching a speed camera. Every other GPS navigation has this elementary feature.

PLEASE add this feature.

Add voice speed trap warning option in settings. Not just a voice warning when you are speeding!

Il serait souhaitable que les radars quels qu’ils soient, fassent l’objet d’une annonce vocale.
D’autant plus souhaitable, qu’il est souvent difficile de regarder à la fois la route et le radar sur le pare-brise. Une annonce vocale diminuerait considérablement le risque.
Merci de bien vouloir prendre en compte cette suggestion.
Pourquoi pas deux versions de votre logiciel : l’une au prix normal telle qu’à ce jour, l’autre plus chère avec annonces vocales.
Cela laisserait le choix à tout le monde.

Same problem in Germany. I dont understand why there is no option for speed trap warnings regardless of the current driving speed.

O Waze é ótimo, mas seria muito bom se houvesse a OPÇÃO de tocar sinal para avisar radares, mesmo abaixo da velocidade do carro. Para ter esta opção usamos simultaneamente o aplicativo Radarbot. Pena que no Waze não tenha esta opção, se colocarem ficaria ainda melhor e prático.

Sugiro ao Waze colocar opção pra ter alerta sonoro de excesso de velocidade, sem alertar radar semafórico. Um modo disso acontecer com facilidade de implementação é desativar o alerta sonoro de radar semafórico quando a opção de não mostrar radar no mapa estiver ativada.

It would be great if the app was always warned by a speed camera. In Finland, cameras are often placed just after the speed limit and Waze doesn't warn at all, even though the camera mark is on the map.

Or you could just turn your head and check your mirrors lol. Install rear-facing camera if you're really worried about this.
