Please enhance sound notifications. I would really like not having to look on my screen everytime.

I would use this more often , if the speed camera alert gave a audio warning, and also displayed speed limit.

Please add the following option: even when I drive below speed limit, I want to be able to have a sound alert that there is a speed trap ahead!

This would buy me a lot of peace of mind as I drive with the flow, not checking my speed or waze for upcoming speed traps.
In France, the Coyote app has this and it is crucial... Though waze is better on all other counts.

I would also like to see an enhanced audio alert for police, as well as some of the other suggestions about both lanes and moving. May I suggest that the alert activate quite a distance from the point than it currently does. I get a voice alert now that is way too close to the point to avoid discovery. Mind you, by alerting, Waze keeps the roads safer.

I would also like this to work even if the screen is off. My Xperia Z can't charge fast enough in the car dock with the screen on, but I would like police notifications.

Would be great if I could get any sound while approaching speed cameras, Some users say that there is a audio warning but I cant get any sound from mine, using nokia n8 having to watch the screen all the time rather than the road ahead.

oui en France sur l'A 11 certains radars sont signalés graphiquement mais aussi par la voix (ex au Km 167) mais d'autres ne sont signalés que graphiquement (exemple à la sortie d'Angers vers Nantes - dans les 2 sens, ou bien vers Paris après le péage de Saint Arnoult, au Km 5). La signalisation vocale est un plus énorme

I have noticed that vocal warnings or speed camera, etc only happen when navigating to a destination.
If just using Waze without directional navigation you only see the alerts on the map but hear no vocal warning.
Please can this be added?

il serait bien qu'il y ai une alerte sonore à l'approche d'un radar , car pour l'instant sans alerte sonore ça nous oblige à regarder régulièrement le GPS donc à quitter régulièrement la route des yeux donc dangereux.

If all Wazers have Waze in the pocket, of the jacket, what is the use of Waze ?

You want hazard warning but you don't warn other users ?

Please, a sound and a voice warning for each hazard (fixed or mobile radar) and whatever our speed. Think of bikers who have headsets connected to the phone in the pocket of the jacket and not the eyes on the screen.

A new option to choose when Waze alerts for speed cameras by sound and popup:
- if current speed is greater than the speed limit
- always
- never

Yes a loud audible high-pitched alert, something that would go off before the watch out notification. You could turn it on or off under settings. If you wanted to get fancy you could have a different sound per alert....Police car, radar, hazard, traffic, accident.
At least give us the most important, police and radar alert sound
