Zoom level resets after waze shows alerts while stopped
If I'm driving and set my zoom at a certain level and stop, waze shows nearby alerts... great! But when I drive again my zoom level is not what I've set it at. Also, please make the app show the alert on the side of the screen and put the pinpointed alert on the other side while in landscape mode. Sometimes an alert is useless without seeing it and currently the warning covers the map!

I haven't looked at the iOS version for this in quite some time, as I just gave up and switched to the dynamic zoom instead. I don't like how far out the dynamic zoom actually zooms out, but at least it is consistent with what it does. Guess it wouldn't hurt to check what the iOS version does now. I'll report back after I get the chance.

adding my $0.02 - as of the most current version running on Android 4.x, Zoom still ALWAYS RESETS. Annoying.

Is it really fixed? I still experience this on my Android client - I zoom in to the desired zoom level, but I need to do this again after notifications or after I report an incident. Very annoying!

I've been asking for persistent zoom level setting forever. It's so annoying having it change the zoom level. it wouldn't be so bad if it changed it to show something pertaining to the report it is showing, but once it switches back to showing my location again it should switch back to my zoom level.
