adding "I'm a motorcyclist" mode
adding "I'm a motorcyclist" mode in the settings for motorcyclist to choose and it will let us choose roads even if they have traffic jams and alart from roads that are dangerous

Would add an option to prompt the user when Waze is started for the type of vehicle. (Car, truck, motorcycle, walking, cycling, motorhome, caravan, etc) and to allow you to set profile settings for these for width, height, length, speeds etc. for each of these so that:
1. Waze records the correct traffic speeds according to your vehicle type and not make cars think they can travel down roads at the same speed as bicycles or motorcycles or even buses or car pool lanes.
2. Waze can send you through routes suitable for your vehicle. -

Terrible idea. Apart from creating inconsistent traffic data, it would be a feature that supports reckless driving by motorcyclists - driving between lanes and weaving between cars in traffic is dangerous and not consistent with the “share the road” mantra.

yeah motorcycle-mode would be very nice:)

This would definitely be a great option. Several settings could be tuned when in motorcycle mode.
Also, in some countries, motorcycles CANNOT pass traffic (most of North America), so please make the "Ignore traffic reports" a separate option, so it can be tuned to whatever country the user is.

Repeating what others have already said. Motorcycles will move faster than cars, especially on stopped or slow traffic, so motorcyclists will incorrectly increase the average speed for car drivers when we filter.
A route planner that selects twisty roads would be fantastic. The "Avoid motorways" option isn't enough.

Most of all make Waze stay on and guiding (voice) with the screen switched off (to save power)

Another vote for a motorcycle version ... It's great that I can use Spotify with Waze but have been aware that as I 'filter' (UK speak for lane splitting) I'm reporting false traffic info back to the app. You would have the market wrapped up with us bikers too ;)

Okay people of Waze, you know you have a great product, looks great, works great But but but...
on this forum as from 2015, there is a voting going on for getting a motorbike mode in the waze app and as I'm a Beta tester I have the most updated Waze version but it is till not on it........
It would help Motorcyclist very much as the Garmin I'm using now on the bike is really not working.....
Come on guys what needs to be done before we can see the Motorbike mode on the app..... I know a lot but thats what you are great in..... so stop counting and start acting......
Love you bye bye

This would improve traffic information as well. Since you can pass traffic. Waze would otherwise report your driving speed to be higher than cars in a traffic jam.
But just a simple ‘ignore traffic’ would be very helpful at this point -

Also, simple voice commands would be helpful for those of us with headsets.

Twisty and otherwise challenging roads is what I like when on motorcycle. Highways and straight line roads are boring.

I would like to add a bicycle mode as well. This would take into account the hills (ups and downs) along the various choices. Should I submit a separate feature request? Personally, I live in Israel and it seems impossible to find a route planner which is tailored to bike riders

Absolutely! I ride every day in New York City. Traffic routing for a motorcycle is very different, due to lane splitting, or simply greater ease to move through traffic. In fact, the heavier the traffic, the greater the time-saving opportunity for motorbikes!

This would also allow waze to know it should keep navigating in the background - saving battery and meaning the phone can go in a pocket and I get my voice directions from my bluetooth headset. Then it will be an awsome app for my car and my bike.
