Put app in Tesla S
Partner with Tesla to have Waze added (or replace Google Maps). I have a Tesla S and the customized Google maps that comes with the car is often VERY wrong about directions and traffic. I end up using Waze on my phone to find the best alternative routes. Give Elon Musk a call!

Waze (CarPlay / Android Auto) on Tesla is now possible thanks to the amazing work from https://tesla-android.gapinski.eu. I (and many others) have been using Waze on our Tesla's for a while now and it's just great! CarPlay / Android Auto is right there on the touch screen and everything can be controlled from the touch screen. It's pretty much a complete integration... except for one thing:
When Waze detects CarPlay is being used Waze does not allow to select the bluetooth Audio output. If Waze would allow selecting the bluetooth audio output the CarPlay/Tesla integration would be complete!
Stick it up to Tesla and make the Waze audio output selectable, even in CarPlay mode!
Thanks for the ultimate #1 Navigation app, you guys rock!

100% agree and as Tesla's are always connected. You would have a ton of traffic data available always.

I also have a Tesla S in Hong Kong. It seems like a natural fit for Waze to look for ways to work with them. Google maps are presently used, along with traffic features, but Google does not show accidents or police road blocks and hidden radar speed checking. Cameras on lights and routes, whereas Waze has all of these. There are 10,000 Tesla's on the Roads in HK and their maps are accurate and reliable.

It would be much safer to use WAZE on the Tesla screen rather than looking at a cell phone. Please integrate!
