Replace "Police" with "Emergency Vehicle"
Just an idea to protect our police officers Waze should just list emergency vehicles. This would let me the user know I should approach with caution and would protect our police, fire, etc. from any misuse of our information. Thanks! Maybe also create a Rideshare group. :)

I disagree with this suggestion. Police are in a different category than other emergency vehicles. Police can ticket you. Police can arrest you. Police can impound your car. Police can make your life miserable on many levels. Firemen, EMT can't do those things to you. Keep police separate. Add firetrucks and other emergency vehicles under another icon but please don't combine them into one category. Law enforcement is different than firemen and ambulance.
