Share route and location with friends.
Give an option to share not only your route but also your location on that route with your friends. This would be a safety feature. In the event that you don't make it to your destination, your friend could see your location. This idea is inspired by the loss of a fellow student who was in a one vehicle accident on her way home to visit for the weekend. Her car ended up under a bridge and she was not found for three days. With a safety feature that allows sharing of your actual location as you follow your route similar tragedies could be avoided. This feature would give myself and others affected/influenced by such a tragedy peace of mind.

"Way Point" Yes i think very useful feature. And could be expanded as follows
When I am diving I focus on the road, I want is to be able to single click a button to records the current location in my history.
Steps to Recreate:
1) Single click, current stored in a history, position visible to all users as unclassified report (include a privacy flag)
2) 5-10 minutes later I pull over and update the details of the report eg. Construction, Place, Traffic, Petrol Price, Way-Point, Privacy setting etc.
3) (Lower priority) The location can then be saved somewhere or transferred to my edit maps account for situations where I want to edit the map myself later. -

Sería mas seguro que alguien pudiera compartir su geolocalizacion desde waze con otros usuarios, sobre todo para viajes y estar, mas o menos seguro, de que el viaje va bien. Gracias pro la aplicacion es genial

'Send ETA' function: It would be good if it remembered all your previous contacts used, in order; therefore operating in the same way as the destination search, which displays previous destinations in order used.

Use Current GPS location to mark way points like Loran and have the ability to SHARE. Perfect for remember or sharing driving short cuts. It also makes it easy to navigate backwards when someone else is driving who knows where they are going. Perfect for off-road (map), Boating, Hiking, ATV.

Como pode ainda nem o Waze ou Google Maps eu poder compartilhar um local para outra pessoa?!? Se, sei onde é um local e quero mostrar onde é este local para enviar para outra pessoa ir, não vi nenhum recurso, ao menos prático, para eu compartilhar de imediato via qualquer tipo de compartilhamento.
Qual a dificuldade em eu segurar o dedo em um local e aparecer as opções, não só de compartilhar, mas tantas outras tão necessárias?
