Voice Delay
VOICE DELAY: The new voice quality is great. But the voice commands really could come about one second sooner.

There are two delay problems I see people mentioning. First send the prompt physically a bit further from the time the driver need s to act. Second avoid clipping the sound for many car models by adding a blank/silent sound to the beginning of the sound file/voice.
For the first issue - call it leisure/sport mode (to make it fun) and make additional assumptions about the speed the driver may be going.
For the second issue - this is a simple UX item in the sound section to enter or slider the duration of this perpended silence (enabling time for the Bluetooth connection to establish). It's basic radio communication error that new hams and other experience when they key and talk immediately - the other side does not get the full message.

On the flip side of this, neither of our family cars have Apple CarPlay and rely on a Bluetooth “phone call” instead. Both “clip” part of the voice instructions and we could use more of a delay. Recommend having a setting in the app that allows one to adjust the delay before the voice command starts (e.g.- slider starting at 0 and allow adjustments in either direction (delay or less delay) in .25 second increments).
