Voice guidance only sound option
Allow users to disable alert sounds, but keep guidance instructions.
I like voice guidance, especially when waze directs me to do something weird in an unfamiliar area to avoid traffic.
I find all alert notifications extremely annoying, and do not use the app for that purpose. It would be nice to be able to disable the annoying sounds and keep the useful ones turned on.

I don't understand why theres ppl don't understand the "alerts only" option is reasonable. as it clearly said 'alert', so ofc the option is a matter.

Hard to believe that it has been 10 years since this was first suggested and it has not been implemented. It is annoying to be listening to music as you are driving to have the alert sound break into the song and keep the song muted for a few seconds. I used Android Auto and I can see the alert pop up, so there is no need for the sound. You have the option of Alerts only, give us the option of Voice only.

I have the same experience! I don't understand why the "alerts only" option is offered when they already get announced even when not actively navigating. Would totally love to JUST hear the directional commands!
