Exit name size Apple car play
In apple car play if the exit name is too long waze removes the ETA and remaining distance to make room for the exit name. Which is nice but sometime the exit may be 10km away and not having the eta for 10km is not great. Maybe keeping the eta but smaller could be an alternative. Or using a smaller font for the exit name.

Waze está teniendo graves problemas con Apple CarPlay

Add a button using carplay
Add a “report via voice” button on the bottom right of the map. I’m in the UK so drive on the right. So to reach over and press report button, then the furthest button away is report via voice its not easy to do while driving. A one tap button on the bottom right would make this MUCH quicker. And get rid of the voice that speaks first.. I want to make my report quickly not wait with “thinking” on the screen, then for someone to speak to me before I can report. Augmenter grandement la taille des caractères vitesse et panneaux et alertes
onjour,
La taille des caractères et des panneaux à agrandir. Les affichages sont trop petit sur les écrans et cela quelque soit la taille y compris gps moto et les téléphones.
Voir une alerte accident ou vitesse pose problème et plus encore sur un téléphone ou un gps moto. Même les panneaux sont beaucoup trop petit.
A partir de 40 ans la vue ne fait que baisser à vous d’adapter l’ergonomie visuelle de votre super application. Multiplier au moins par 4 la taille des caractères de la vitesse et des alertes serait raisonnable.

I would like to report an issue with Waze on Apple CarPlay.
Issue description:
For approximately the last few weeks (around May 2026), Waze started experiencing a reproducible problem on my motorcycle CarPlay display (Interphone RideSync 70).While navigating, if I open the Alternative Routes screen and then return to navigation, the map disappears. Navigation guidance continues to work, but the map view is no longer displayed correctly.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start navigation in Waze using Apple CarPlay.
- Open the “Alternative Routes” menu.
- Select a route or return to the main navigation screen.
- The map disappears and does not return.

Map Display
The arrow on the map works horizontal all other maps the arrow faces vertical which is the way the car is travelling. Please allow to rotate the map so you can turn the map to suit your direction

Head up display
Dear Waze Team,
Please add Head-Up Display (HUD) support for Waze navigation in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Many modern vehicles, including the new Toyota RAV4 2026, are equipped with advanced HUD systems that can display navigation instructions directly on the windshield. It would be extremely useful and safer if Waze could show upcoming turns, lane guidance, distance to the next maneuver, and other navigation information on the HUD.
Waze is my preferred navigation app, and HUD integration would greatly improve the driving experience and help drivers keep their eyes on the road.

Blank map in Apple CarPlay. Software Fix or Refresh Button
Bug: Blank map in Apple CarPlay.
Need a Software Fix or add a Refresh Button to reload the map view/data as a workaround
Based on internet search the issue appears to be plaguing Waze worldwide. Alternates like Apple and Google maps do not suffer from this issue.

CarPlay button feedback
Can’t tell if I hit the right selection. Still there, not there etc. I feel like there used to be a checkmark or some kinda of visual feedback to show you what you clicked when confirming a traffic or incident report. Now it just disappears

Create a toggle to turn off the next turn notification banners. They make CarPlay freeze up.
Toggle to turn off next turn notification banners when an app other than Waze is open on CarPlay. The notification banners cause CarPlay to freeze until they disappear.

CarPlay view routes problem
Something wrong with the view routes in CarPlay after recent updated version. Clicked view different routes then the map turned into white screen and won’t change back. I had to disconnect CarPlay and reconnected to see the map. If I click view routes again and it will have the same problem.

Serious CarPlay Bug – White Screen When Selecting Alternate Routes
Hello Waze Support,
There is a serious and long-standing bug in Waze on Apple CarPlay that makes alternate routes completely unusable.
Every time I select an alternate route during navigation, the entire Waze screen turns white. Once this happens, the app becomes completely stuck and cannot be recovered from within CarPlay. The only way to get Waze working again is to disconnect the phone from CarPlay and reconnect it.
This issue occurs consistently and is fully reproducible. It is not an occasional glitch—it happens whenever an alternate route is selected.
Because of this bug, I can no longer use one…

Add the ability to bring up the list of roads on the Car Play screen.
Add the ability to bring up the list of roads on the Car Play screen. In Australia it is illegal to use the Phoine whislt driveing so we cant view the road list. Not aware of any other Phone app that has this feature

Reduce Resource Consumption
Why is Waze so resource intensive - My phone is constantly hot and my battery power gets thrashed - it feels like im running a data centre with all the resources you draw ... I always have to plug my phone in during a long trip, but this is not the case with any other mapping system.
Please find out why you hogg all my power and processing power and fix

Enable "Snap To" feature
Please can you enable a "Snap To" feature in car play so that when you need to confirm a hazard, the cursor is already over the "Still There" / "Not There". This way one does not have to scroll to the correct area of the screen to click feedback.
Also, why does the screen menu items come on and off and continually move when you scroll - this should stay static so as not to distract the driver1 vote -
Waze should stop when CarPlay ends
For some reason the Waze app and the current route navigation does not stop when CarPlay has stopped and the car is off. It resumes on the phone and is quite annoying. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps correctly terminate the navigation once the car is turned off.
