horizontal screen error
Hello, I usually have waze on the screen without setting the route, but in the latest versions if you use it in horizontal mode the search bar is not hidden, and it occupies a quarter of the screen, before with a double tap on the screen if it was hidden, please re-implement this option.

HUD Interface
I own LEXUS NX450 F-Sport and use WAZE through Car Play. The problem is that there is no interface between the WAZE and the Head-Up-Display. For example, Apple Maps has such an interface. I think this is a must feature you have to add.

Hide “Work” shortcut in CarPlay when not set
When selecting the magnifying glass for an address in Waze on CarPlay, the first two options are the Home and Work shortcuts/favorites, which appear regardless if they have been setup in the app or not. This request is to hide either or both if there is not an address assigned (or have an option to hide them altogether).

CarPlay end navigation with voice command
I’d like to end my navigation early with a voice command. I’m surprised it’s not already available.
For example saying “hey siri and navigation” and it stops the navigation. Right now Waze gives an error “ Waze hasn't added support for that with Siri.“4 votes -
Enhance Waze on CarPlay’s Instrument Display
Thank you for adding Waze to the instrument cluster on CarPlay - it’s a huge improvement! However, the current implementation could be refined for better usability.
• The resolution is too low, making the map appear overly zoomed in with limited visibility of the road ahead.
• Key details, such as potholes and hazards, are missing.
• A higher-resolution option with a more zoomed-out view would greatly improve navigation.
• Adding a 3D perspective or allowing users to customise the zoom level would make it even more useful.Having Waze on the cluster display is fantastic for quick glances, but…

Change colour of car on “Vehicle on Shoulder” alert icon
When submitting a report and looking at the possible report types while driving. From the corner of one’s eye the “Vehicle on shoulder” alert icon and “Object” icons are very similar.
I suggest the colour of the vehicle in the “vehicle on shoulder” icon be changed to a different distinct colour that also accounts for colourblind people.
If the vehicle was blue or green for example it would be easier to quickly tell the icons apart. Otherwise I feel like I need to distract myself from driving to double check the description next to the icons before confirming the report.

Toll
I was using Waze in CarPlay today taking a ride on the PA turnpike. It showed that the toll rates were $22.00. This is the accurate toll price if I was paying cash or using toll by plate where they take a picture of my license plate. But people who have an ezpass pay significantly less than that rate, sometimes 50% less. Could you add an option in the Waze account to show the ezpass toll rate vs the cash rate toll rate? Perhaps a toggle button that you have an expand transmitter.

Closures
I would like Waze to alert closures as well, not just lane closures.

Please keep arrival time on screen during alerts.
Please keep arrival time on screen when alert pops up while driving. Whenever I get speed, red light camera alerts, the arriving time disappears and comes back only after alert goes away.
There is enough room in car play screen for both or make the alert smaller please. I would like to see, arrival time and remaining time left at all times.

Change Waze user interface on CarPlay (with or without Touch screen) to DEFAULT cursor position is ‘Report’.
I have no Touchscreen on CarPlay, controls therefore are scroll buttons on steering wheel. Whenever I’m driving it take several (4 typically) button presses just to toggle the ‘report’ button (like if there is a car on side of road). I’m recommending that the CarPlay cursor defaults to this button so user just presses ONE click to file a report, confirm a warning or whatever - much safer (eyes on road) and more likely to use as it’s a pain & by the time you reach the selected report button on screen, hazard is past / behind you.

Road Issues on Car Play
I use an Iphone. On the phone when I use WAZE, i can view possible road reports or a compass. I can't on Car Play. How to be able to view Road reports & the compass on the Car Play.

Allow me to change audio source in Play Sound Via menu when using CarPlay
Waze audio defaults to CarPlay audio and cannot be changed while connected to CarPlay. I would like to be able to select an alternative Bluetooth source other than CarPlay while connected to CarPlay. The fix would need to be made in Settings -> Voice & Sound -> Play Sound Via. Allow user to select any sound output they desire and NOT default to carplay.

Split-screen view in CarPlay
On a long trip, it’s nice to see how far along you are on the full route - but there’s not a lot of need for turn-by-turn on the highway. Please make a view that uses some of the large available space in CarPlay mode to show the “route overview” map next to the turn-by-turn.

Al usar Waze con CarPlay NO es posible reportar daños en las calles como calles cerradas o eventos en las mismas,
Carplay NO permite reportar eventos en las calles como cierres, o eventos de cierre lo cual hace que el mapa te guie por calles por las cuales NO se puede pasar lo que genera perdida de tiempo y errores en las rutas, Carplay Daña y destruye totalmente esta excelente app debido a sus restricciones sin sentido.
