Speed Lines
Hello, we have "speed lines" in Pennsylvania, among 9 other states, where police can setup nearby and measure your car when it crosses one line in the road and then the time it takes for it to cross a second line a short ways down the road to measure speed. It is called Vascar. Could you add a "speed line" option for the app to keep track of these when encountered by Wazers?

An option dedicated for roadside assistance/ fire/ EMS present on a roadway would be ideal.

Revamp police alert system.
Currently, if I were to report police, oncoming traffic wouldn't be alerted even if the cop is on the median. I suggest that for police alerts, all directions of traffic should be alerted.

Traffic jam warnings FAR too late
It warns me of traffic jams FAR too late to detour around them! Failing this, I'm stuck in traffic that the app knew about and the only (marginally useful) information I have is how long I'm going to be stuck in it. Tell me well before the last exit before the tie-up, preferably two exits. Offer re-routes.

It would be excellent if there were alerts and an icon on screen when I am in a zone where it's very highly possible for animals to cross (road signs)

Give a user a notice when Waze is set to avoid tolls. Many times I have been on back roads wondering when I will get to a highway.

Solution:
When the trip starts, let the user know what option is set.
Or have the toll status displayed on the screen "Toll Roads" / "Avoid Toll Roads". Also allow the user to choose if the status is to be displayed or not.2 votes -
Missing Pet/Animal at Large
I am a volunteer with a pet search & rescue non-profit. It would be great to have a feature where you can mark a loose pet or missing pet so as people drive by they can be notified and keep an eye out! It's not only helpful for the owners, but helpful for the driver to know there is a loose animal that can cause an accident. (Anything from a dog to cattle or horse loose)

Send an alert as soon as an accident occurs on the current route so driver can immediately consider another. It takes Waze a while to suggest a new one as it waits for traffic to build up while a driver will know that is likely to happen and can pick another route before it is too late.

zone de danger radar france
Fixed danger zones are not displayed when navigation is not activated, unlike the Coyote or tomtom application where the zones are signaled until the end. "you enter a danger zone" and this disappears instantly before even passing a fixed radar. Waze must keep the alert throughout the area, even if the route navigation is not activated ( FRANCE )

Add support for government emergency alerts (cell broadcast integration) to notify drivers entering affected areas
As a Waze volunteer editor, I’d like to suggest integrating a feature that uses official cell broadcast emergency alerts sent by governments or national agencies (such as AMBER Alerts, severe weather warnings, or public safety alerts).
The idea is simple: when a Waze user drives into an area where a cell broadcast alert was recently sent, the app could display a notification or short message about it — even if that driver didn’t originally receive the alert on their phone because they were outside the area at the time.

Quiero hacerles una sugerencia respecto a las opciones de reporte en carretera. Actualmente, cuando los usuarios queremos señalar la presencia de autoridades, solo aparece la categoría de “policía”, pero en países como Colombia también existen los agentes de tránsito, que cumplen funciones distintas y cuya presencia es igualmente importante para los conductores.Considero que sería muy útil para la comunidad de Waze que se incluya una opción específica llamada “agente de tránsito”, de manera que los usuarios podamos diferenciar entre ambas autoridades. Displaying the sections where the speed of travel from point A to point B is recorded by the cameras of the Toll system for vignettes.
Hello Bulgaria, but not only Bulgaria. Since the beginning of September 2025, the toll system that monitors purchased vignettes has started measuring average speed in certain sections of the road network.
Unfortunately, these road sections are not marked on the road itself, and drivers have no way of knowing that they are entering these sections.
The state, represented by the Road Agency and the Toll System, published a list and map on their website showing where these sections are located, and that was the end of the information on this change.

Land slide or fallen rocks
Because it is essential, this happens in many places, but just putting objects in the way it isn’t enough. If I see a landslide warning on the road, I immediately know the seriousness of this situation.

One Way Construction Traffic Control
Warn drivers that traffic in a construction zone is reduced to one way and controlled by Construction Traffic Signals. We have had such a situation that has been ongoing for several months. This is on a major artery and waiting for an editor with the appropriate level could be counter productive.
A normal wazer should be able to report report as active or no longer active, with approval by a higher level
