speed camera alert closer to the speed camera
the alert is happening 400m from the camera, sometimes there is an intersection before the camera that you may stop at and by the time you get going again you may of forgotten about the camera. listening to the news or music may distract from the warning, when you finally get that 400m down the road. a second alert 50m from the camera, speeding or not, would be greatly appreciated.

Signal sonore, option jeune permis et ancienne voix de Vanessa
Ajouter une option qui lorsqu’il y a un changement de direction, on reçoit une petite alerte sonore au choix qui nous invite à regarder le GPS au lieu d’avoir une voix qui parle sans arrêt. Aussi une option pour les jeunes permis avec des limitations de vitesse adaptées. Et remettre l’ancienne voix française de Vanessa.

Select lane by number. “ Object in lane three ahead”. That way if I’m in Lane one I don’t need to worry about it

Earlier notification of mobile and static speed cameras
Current speed camera alerts occur too late and usually when the camera can be seen which by then is too late. Earlier warning along with the speed limit would be a great enhancement to the app.

Common Police Locations
Police aren't always marked, they may have just moved, but police locations tend to be rather consistent at least in my experience. Waze, I assume, has the data tracked for every instance of report and knows the location of all police reported events so why not do something with this data to help drivers. Create a potential police location report. This is something that drivers don't place but is a backend development from the Waze team. Bouncing an alert on the "prayer of the road" at the city of the city.

Look both ways when a road ends at a two-way road and you turn right
When driving on a road that ends in a two-lane road and you want to turn right, you usually only look to the left to see if a vehicle is approaching.
I think that in these cases, Waze should give a voice warning to check visually in both directions.
It may happen that on the right side a vehicle is overtaking another and the driver is doing so on the opposite lane, the lane you intend to enter.

Potholes are problems on the roads. But long stretches of pothole-ridden sections are also an issue.
Potholes are problems on the roads. But there is something even more annoying, which is larger sections of the road that are completely holed or damaged. The suggestion is to create a new type of alert that is more lasting. Something saying "Damaged section ahead." Perhaps many countries do not suffer from this, but here in Brazil, whether in small towns or capitals, this is extremely common.

Speed Camera Audio Alerts should be User not Community Choice
It seems there is a lack of clarity regarding Speed Camera Audio Alerts and how they are triggered.
From what I can tell, audio alerts for speed cameras are a "community" choice, meaning that an audio alert will only be played given a number of conditions:
Depending on where you live - Your "community" decides what the threshold should be, that is if you are currently travelling at the speed limit or below, some communities will trigger the audio alert. Option to disable construction alerts; they are distracting
Several people have posted this. It is not being responded to. PLEASE listen to us! When driving, a construction alert pops up. There is NO option in settings to turn off construction alerts (only to hide from map). The alert is persistent until I pass the zone, which means ETA is not visible. The alert cannot be cleared until I pass the zone. It's a horrible experience, and the only way to clear it is to say "Not there" which is not true. Please listen to the users begging for this.
