  2. Vocal command for the Current Speed Limit

    You should be able to vocally ask Waze "What's the speed limit" and have Waze both audibly tell you the current speed limit as well as show it full screen for a few seconds, before returning to the previous mode.

  3. Prohibited zone alert

    It would be handy to add prohibited zone notification, like you are entering a exmilitary zone which is prohibited without permission. Or have this notification alert in the planning overview.

    I set my destination in this zone without knowing is prohibited and waze has no problem to lead me there.

  4. Changing lanes

    As a qualified driving instructor I very much like your app. However, when instructing to change lanes, your instructions often come too late often leaving the pupil straddling lanes or prevented from changing lanes. Advance warning is needed.

  6. Le compteur de vitesse fonctionne bien mais pas les alertes. Particulièrement si on dépasse la limitation de vitesse très doucement.

    Pourriez vous ajouter ,en choix multiples l’option de déclement de l’alerte 5km par heure avant la limitation de vitesse. Et juste à la limitation de vitesse et pour tout dépassement de la limitation.

  7. Australian School Zones (40kmh) Alert

    In Australia we have School Zones around all schools to ensure the safety of children around schools. In the majority of the Australian states this is a set period of Monday to Friday 8:00am to 9:30am and 2:30pm to 4:00pm. It would be great to create an alert of some sort, during these times and turn off the alert outside these times. Thank You

  8. Verbal Speed Camera Alerts should be on constantly or make a button

    In the UK, people loved Waze, simply due to its Verbal Alerting behaviour for everything. But a few months ago, speed camera verbal alerts were turned off if you're under the speed limit.

    Not only is this dangerous but it could cause speeding tickets. Let me explain with this is problematic:

    1) firstly, the main priority should be to get out eyes off the screens and on the road. It's self explanatory, if I'm constantly having to look fir the speed camera sign on the app and my eyes are off the road then this is a disaster waiting to…

  9. Speed Limit Alerts for Commercial Vehicles

    In the UK speed limits for public light goods (commercial) vehicles are different, so for example on national speed-limit A-roads, cars are allowed to do 60mph, but commercial vehicles like panel vans, can only do 50mph. It’s to do with the increased payloads they potentially carry.

    This differential isn’t catered for in the app, so when it’s set to alert when the speed limit is reached, a van driver in many cases is actually 10mph over which is enough of a margin to receive an endorsement in the UK.

  10. Alert police on both sides of the road

    Currently, waze only provides an alert when approaching police on the same side of the road. In Australia, police will check vehicle speed in both directions. Waze should have the option to provide alerts when approaching police on the opposite side of the road.

  14. Radars embarqués dans des voitures banalisées

    Il y a de plus en plus de voitures banalisées en France. Mais impossible à signaler. Il y a déjà le signalement « Police visible ou caché » pourquoi pas ajouter la possibilité de mettre « Police en mouvement » pour signaler des voitures banalisées.

    Leave time is 10 minutes, would be helpful to have other optionss. 20 mintes 30 minutes, etc.

  16. Average speed alert

    The "average speed check zone" alert is too unrelenting. You're listening to your favourite song, or an audiobook, or a podcast, and then the "average speed check zone ahead" starts and it's endless (wouldn't "average speed control" be enough?) and then, 5 seconds later, again, "entering average speed check zone". Enough!! A single, shorter message is enough. Also, every time the alert starts, the volume is lowered, and you have to raise it back again (maybe that's Carplay fault)

  18. Radar de velocidade média - average speed radar

    It would be interesting, in these new “average speed” radars, that along the section in question, the green progression bar that appears in the application on the left side would turn red whenever the vehicle exceeds the allowed average. Here's the tip.

    Seria interessante, nestes novos radares de “velocidade média”, que ao longo do troço em questão, a barra de progressão verde que aparece na aplicação do lado esquerdo passasse a vermelho sempre que o veículo ultrapassasse a média permitida. Fica a dica.

  19. Aider les routiers en signalant un endroit où il leur est impossible de passer

    A plusieurs reprises des poids sont restés bloqués dans notre rue (500m) avec obligation de reculer alors qu'elle est étroite et présente beaucoup de stationnement de riverains. Mettre une icone de signalisation les empêchant. Obligé même en pleine nuit de les aider à faire "marche arrière jusqu'au début"
