  1. traffic alert in highway

    as a Waze user, I'd like to receive a voice traffic alert when traveling on a highway (at highway speeds) and the map shows traffic on the route. Also, I'd like to have the configuration option to enable or disable it.

    If there is a traffic jam on an exit, the highway may be sufficient to indicate this in time.

    Merci à Waze de signaler les Zone a traffico limitato en Italie et dans les autres pays d'Europe.
    L'UE impose de telles zones dans les villes de + de 150.000 habitants d'ici peu. Cela devient urgent !

  5. Common Police Locations

    Police aren't always marked, they may have just moved, but police locations tend to be rather consistent at least in my experience. Waze, I assume, has the data tracked for every instance of report and knows the location of all police reported events so why not do something with this data to help drivers. Create a potential police location report. This is something that drivers don't place but is a backend development from the Waze team. Take the police report data and create a new icon, the police icon but in a different color, to represent a typical police location.…

  6. Can we get a known speed trap alert

    Some areas are just known for speed traps. Maybe some kind of algorithm that logs how many drivers ping certain areas for speed traps for a period of time before its considered a "Known speed trap". This alert can be optional in carplay etc.

  7. Ability to place a road closed location remotely

    The road ahead of me was closed due to a fatal accident with closure notification / diversion starting approx 5miles before the accident. No waze user had got close enough to post a “road closed” so waze constantly tried to redirect from diversion route back onto closed road before the accident. Suggest ability to post road closure ahead and if closure if single or both directions.

  10. Mute specific notifications at specific locations

    I want to know about cars on shoulder, hazards on road etc but I want to be be able to mute specific alerts by location : I know there is a speed camera and pot holes on my normal route and want to mute those but not mute all other items for same items on the rest of my drive. Shouldn’t be an all or nothing alert system. Need a MUTE THIS NOTIFICATION FOR THIS LOCATION ONLY option.

  11. Bomberos ambulancias policías

    Ambulancias bomberos y policías al iniciar una ruta de emergencia, les avise a todos los conductores que están en esta misma un mensaje de emergencia que la ambulancia o bombero policía pasarán por ahí en un tiempo pre visto y que se preparen para dejar el paso libre
    Y al resto otro mensaje que no se interpongan a esta misma ruta, asi se podrían salvar vidas de las personas que corren con poco tiempo de rescate y personas que no se atraviesen en una persecución policial

  12. Uruguay - Montevideo - Alertas de zonas de alto riesgo

    En Uruguay, pero sobre todo en Montevideo, es necesario que esta aplicación alerte cuando el trayecto sugerido incluye zonas peligrosas o incuso cuando uno sin haber seleccionado un trayecto esta ingresando en una zona peligrosa. Creo que en Montevideo estas zonas estan bien definidas, e incluso en coordinación con la Intendencia Municipal sería viable implementar esta actualización.

  13. Most hazard alerts should not expire

    When a hazard alert, such as a construction zone or a stopped vehicle is posted, it should not simply expire. It should remain active until a user explicitly responds that it's "Not there."

    There's no reason that a long-term construction project, for example, should have to be reported repeatedly day after day for months. The same applies to most types of alerts, such as broken traffic lights and potholes. Once the hazard is gone, users will say so. Until then, it should remain active.

  14. Wayside alerts

    Alerts on upcoming waysides (rest stops)
    Ie.
    Alert … wayside (rest stop) in 2 miles. Rest rooms, vending machines, dog exercise area. Next wayside in 60 miles (50 minutes) can you hold it that long?

  15. Being able to customise/modify the sound for the speed limit alert

    The sound for the speed limit alert is too weak. It'd be nice to have an option to change the tone for this alert.

    Personally I want it to be as obtrusive and as obnoxious as possible

  18. improve Speeding Alerts

    Could the speed indicator be improved in this way: Right now, the speeding icon stays white up to the speed limit, then as soon as 1 mph over, it goes red. I have my alert threshold set to 10% over the speed limit. I would prefer if the speeding icon does not go red until that 10% overage is exceeded. Otherwise the icon would be red most of the time, as most people drive a few mph over the speed limit. And having it red most of the time defeats the warning. It only needs to go red when speeding…

  19. Limites de velocidad callao

    En el Callao han cambiado los límites de velocidad disminuyendo 10km por cada límite por ejemplo en avenida de 60km/h ahora es 50 km/h, en calles y Jirones de 40 km/h ahora es 30 km/h, sugiero cambiar estos límites para darnos las alertas adecuadas en la navegación, gracias.

  20. alerte de survitesse sonore permanente

    L'alerte de survitesse sonore est actuellement fait que par un petit beep sonore et uniquement dans les zones dangereuses.
    J'aimerais avoir une alerte de survitesse sonore permanente par un beep-beep quand je dépasse la vitesse autorisée.
    avec des options:
    1) Tout le temps ou que dans les zones dangereuses.

    2) avoir le choix du son beep-beep et avec son intensité.

    3) l'arrêter momentanément en tapotant sur l'indicateur de vitesse rond.
