Picnic place
allow Wazers to indicate nice picnic places
Who never experienced looking hours to find a nice place , finally stop in à not ideal place, and then after eating, drive 500 m and find the perfect stop 😉 ?2 votes -
Social media feature
add a “social media” feature where you can share your trips with your contacts. If it matches with their mobility need, they should be able to ask for a ride.
This would reduce traffic and save money.2 votes -
It would be great if I,for example, made a Dr appt for a month from now and could enter it and forget it. As far as I can tell, you are of.
If I make an appointment 5 weeks from now, I’d like to add it to my waze and forget it. If I’m not mistaken, you only have 6 days? Maybe I’m doing it incorrectly

Stop playing an audio tone when we click on "still there" even with sound on.
With sound on, if you click "still there" for road hazards, you now play a tone. This tone interrupts the playback of bluetooth audio in the car and is very annoying. We WANT other sounds to play, so turning to "alerts only" or "sound off" is not a solution. We just want that little feedback sound gone.

finding parking
Waze should have a parking spot finder option in hotspot areas. For example: NYC. Users with the app already have GPS enabled, a feature can be added to anonymously show when a car moved out of a spot or spots that have been selected as available to make parking easier in populated areas.

Logbook
Possibility to Export Drives (expl. Excel Table) from Waze Map-Editor to create a Logbook for the Taxoffice. Or implement an Logbook funktion to Waze Desktop.

Trying to report issue
Trying to report issue on pre-planning a trip. On the screen to select arrive by time, when scrolling down; there's a square center screen. It blocks the suggested leave by time. I have a screen shot, but there's no option to attach/send one...

Allow waze users to restore deleted account
Have you forgotten your password or username and cannot get into your waze account or deleted it by accident, and want to restore or reclaim access to the account as you’ve worked hard for your points and have some addresses saved you haven’t saved or written down. Wouldn’t it be good to get it all back and not have to create a new account and start from the beginning again.

Reward/Payment to user for implemented ideas. (Including this one)
Reward users for ideas that will be/have been implemented. Users who submit ideas are basically improving the app (if their idea is used) and in a way should be considered a part of the waze development team. This will only encourage more users to submit their ideas, thus giving waze more ideas/data to improve the app and user experience.

Possiblity to use Waze on an android device with physical buttons instead of touch screen
I have an android head unit with a non touch screen, I have installed Waze but I can not navigate in the app menu. The headunit buttons are not responsive.

Update Food venues that closed down permanently
Several eateries closed down permanently on my trips. Need to update to avoid wasted time and has.

Crear comunidad escolar que permita a los padres que recogen y entregan en la puerta de los colegios estimar el tiempo de fila anticipando cuando el padre sale de origen Via al colegio y asignar un orden a cada auto informando en una vista especial al colegio para que los niños estén a tiempo esperando para agilizar el proceso
Imagino que al pertenecer a un determinado grupo autorizado poder ver a todos los autos que están en la fila y los que se dirigen a la fila para estimar el tiempo de espera

Dashcam
Dashcam which offers possible navigation support has all things like speed etc rear and forward. Here is the idea ai. Image recognisearion which links with a phone I did this simply with raspberry pi python and a YOLO I made it ping when police were in view maybe it's possible to make it mark them up on the app real time option to enable disable this feature for privacy make sure it only sends a gps ping location and don't do it in a radius near somebody's house fully anonymous reporting with this dashcam links up with the app so…

Link gas prices to regieessencequebec.ca in Quebec, Canada for real time pricing
In the province of Quebec, Canada there is a new law requiring all gas stations to update their prices within 5 minutes of changing their prices. The information is freely available from regieessencequebec.ca and there are already apps using this real time data. Waze should link to the government website and use its data that is updated in minutes after gas stations make any price change (they legally have to or face fines of $1,000-$4,000). This data is highly accurate and Waze could even provide alerts from it for users in Quebec, Canada.
