  1. Causes phone to heat up when Waze in background minumized

    Just wanted to provide some feedback to you: My Pixel 6 would feel very warm/hot when Waze has been" minimized" into the background but not fully closed out.

    Feels like Waze is working overtime to stay alive or relevant within the Android system even though it is not the primary active application in use.

    : Before this was never a problem with temperature on the phone. But recently it has become alarmingly warm when above activity is performed.

    Thank you and hope this can be remedied from one side (Waze) or the other (Android's).

    È possibile colorare magari in blu le stesse icone ma per la corsia opposta? Non sempre si ha tempo di decifrare icone così piccole e trovo l'interpretazione più immediata e sicura.

  4. Problema al iniciar la aplicacion

    Mi teléfono está dando problemas cuando inicio la aplicación, el teléfono se congela y no funciona, hasta que se cierra todo y algunas veces hasta se reinicia el teléfono. Este es un formulario de sugerencias pero no encontré otro lado donde reportar mi problema, mejorar eso, saludos

    Going through the Waze registration process is very, very painful and qualifies as being USER UNFRIENDLY. One has to wonder if Waze doesn't want folks to get an account.

    It would be nice if we could connect our facebook group the waze as way to communicate with everyone in the group and create easy connections instead of just using our facebook friend's list

  9. Add an option to change carpool pickup location

    This has happened to me twice, as a driver: a carpool ride has been agreed and approved, while driving to the pickup location, the passenger called and we agreed on a more convenient pickup location, not far away from the original location set by the App. After the pickup, both the passenger and I couldn't tell the App that the pickup has been made, and while driving to the drop-off location, the App kept directing us back to the original pickup location. Eventually the ride was not recognized as carpool and no payment made.

    בקארפול, כדאי להוסיף אפשרות לנהג ולנוסע לומר לאפליקציה שבוצע האיסוף, אפילו שזה לא קרה בדיוק במקום שהוגדר על ידי האפליקציה.
    קרה לי פעמיים שלאחר הסכמה לנסיעת קארפול, הנוסע התקשר ותאמנו נקודת איסוף נוחה יותר לשנינו, לא רחוק מהנקודה שנקבעה על ידי האפליקציה, אבל לאחר האיסוף, לא יכולנו לומר לאפליקציה שבוצע האיסוף, והאפליקציה המשיכה לכוון אותי לנקודת האיסוף המקורית.

    צריכים להוסיף אופציה לנווט לפי נקודות זאת אומרת אם אני עכשיו צריך לאסוף 4 אנשים בסביבה אז אני פשוט רושם את כל הכתובות ביחד אז האפליקציה לבד תדע לתכנן לי את המסלול הנכון ביותר בהתחשב בעומסי תנועה .
    זה יכול להתאים גם לאנשים פרטים גם נהגי משאיות גם

    An improvement would be to allow submitting gas prices when not at a gas station. This would allow your users/their passengers to update prices as they are driving by.

  13. Precisam melhorar a comunicação entre motorista e pessoa que solicita a carona

    Quando eu tento agendar uma carona para o dia seguinte e acho dois tipos de pessoas oferecendo carona, uma que está no aceite automático e outra no manual, é extremamente difícil falar com ambas pelo chat do app, e para as pessoas que estão no aceite automático chega a ser estressante o processo de entrar em contato com a pessoa, não atende ao telefone pois vem de um número fixo desconhecido, nem respondem as solicitações.

    Entendo que parte dos problemas está relacionado aos usuários não saberem utilizar bem o app e sobre isso talvez vocês não possam fazer nada, porém…

  14. Design WAZE so that it can operate with screen switched off

    When riding a motorcycle on very twisty/technical roads, audio is all any rider could possibly use. It is too dangerous and not practical to be looking down at WAZE screen or operating WAZE screen (with gloves on). Therefore having screen on in this context is useless and drains phone battery unnecessarily. Regarding reporting of road hazards and speed traps, the most preferred/safest/practical thing to do is pull over, remove gloves and then operate phone.

  15. Reliability

    I have found that Waze is the most unstable of the three major navigation platforms, which include Apple and Google Maps. It routinely has trouble figuring out where one is starting from which causes the map to freeze while the navigation continues. It also consistently either stops working (loses the route, or begins to submit random, rapidfire directions which are all incorrect). This seems to mostly happen in urban settings. While trying to get our dog to cancer treatment in Boston, your navigator went off the rails, forcing me to pull over in traffic and go to another option to…

    If somebody has 9 good idea the chance is bigger that this person's 10th idea will be good too.

  17. arrow next to suggestion address while typing in search so I don't have to write the full street name to write the house number

    Example Adress is: Aradi vértanúk tere 5.
    At the moment I have to write the whole adress
    My suggestion:
    1. I type "arad"
    2. "Aradi vértanúk tere" appears in suggestion and there is an arrow next to it.
    3. I tap op the arrow and waze fills the suggestion
    4.I just write "5" after the suggestion

    So I have to wire "arad" tap on arrow and write "5"

    by the way this is works in google maps

  18. Compliment

    Thank you for being able to sign into my Waze account.
    Maybe send emails occasionally on how to sign into account and get saved addresses.Or show tab New Phone
    Got new phone 3 days ago and many usernames, passwords don't transfer. Was able to sign into account. Recovered my saved addresses. Three of these people have passed away and their Facebook pages have closed. But I as able to send flowers and cards because still had these addresses in my Waze.

  20. Initiate dispute against driver (carpool)

    When using waze carpool, I propose that there should be a feature added to the rider app enabling them to easily initiate a dispute. Maybe in the same push/email for rating the ride can be a link? Something like "Did something go wrong? Let us know about it".
