Instead of tiny buttons to confirm or deny, use a half screen red, half screen green transparent overlay making it possible to answer the alert without looking. It would increase usage and safety to this system.

I'd like to be able to add construction locations in the editor or on the live map.
We would like to request the addition of a feature to allow construction zones and one-way alternating traffic to be added directly on Waze Live Map or the Waze Map Editor.
Currently, construction information added via the app often disappears after a while, making it difficult to provide consistent warnings to drivers.
If such information could be officially registered and maintained during the construction period through Live Map or the Map Editor, it would greatly benefit users and enhance safety. We kindly ask for your consideration in implementing this feature.

Merge charging and gas stations and add Electricity to the Preferred fuel type
Charging stations would be better integrated with gas stations - by selecting Preferred fuel type - electricity, the type of stations could be defined. (The list of Preferred Gas Station brands could be filtered to those stations that provide a given type of fuel by selecting Preferred fuel type.) Then charging stations would be integrated into the route as well as gas stations now. The current situation is unsatisfactory for electric cars. In the case of integration, it will be better to select and navigate to a charging station, as is the case now with a gas station. Why separate and duplicate these two groups when they could be combined and the fuel selection would clearly define which one the motorist wishes to see? The question is whether hybrid cars would need to select 2 types of fuel in order to be able to choose refueling or charging...

Suggestion to Enhance Camera Alert and Speed Warning Features
Subject: Suggestion to Enhance Camera Alert and Speed Warning Features
Dear Waze Team,
I’m reaching out to share a suggestion for an improved alert system in the Waze app, specifically for users who are driving in horizontal phone orientation. This change would make it easier to understand alerts in critical situations, such as approaching speed cameras, and improve overall road safety.
Suggested Features for Improved Camera Alert and Speed Management:Dynamic Color-Coded Speed Warning Line When a vehicle is going faster than the speed limit, the navigation line or speedometer could turn red to clearly indicate overspeeding, especially as it approaches a camera radar zone. The red alert could automatically revert to green when the vehicle slows down to within the road’s speed limit, providing a visual confirmation of safe speed. Continuous Alert Buzz in Camera Zones To improve driver awareness, a continuous buzzing alert could activate when in a camera radar zone and exceeding the speed limit. The buzz would continue until the driver slows down to the speed limit, offering a gentle but persistent reminder to drive safely. Additionally, offering options for customizable alert sounds or vibration patterns could enhance the user experience, particularly for drivers who prefer quieter or tactile alerts. Optimized Alerts in Horizontal Orientation For users holding their phones in landscape mode, it can sometimes be difficult to notice camera alerts. A pop-up alert box could be introduced, displaying "Camera Zone: Reduce Speed" alongside the current speed limit and vehicle speed. This overlay would appear upon approaching a camera zone, helping drivers better understand and react to alerts when using horizontal orientation. These features would enhance both the functionality and safety of Waze by providing users with clear and persistent alerts in speed-sensitive areas. Thank you for considering this feedback, and please feel free to reach out if I can help clarify any details.
Best regards,

Annoying pop upps
I've been using Waze for a while now, but find the road name flags obscure junctions (when the phone is horizontally held). Wen you turning around in towns, one goes wrong. Is there a way to turn them off?
I' forced to hold the phone on my right led, when driving. I can't put it in my holder horizontally. Very annoying and in towns I instead use Google Maps app. I would've loved to use Waze. But it's not possible.

Fire Truck Icon
--
Hi Waze-Customer-Support,
Sorry to hear that the fire truck icon has disappeared. I always thought of it as a way to honor our current and retired First Responders like myself.
I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to bring it back, please. I have a lot of sisters and brothers that would appreciate it.

There is a problem entering birthdays
I just registered my account and my moms… and for some odd reason the app seems fine but it is bugged or has tech issues… cause it asks for birthday and I put it in and she did it as well… and when we look at it after hitting save, it takes a day off… like why? Then after multiple tries I tried something else… I put it for the beginning of the month and it did it for the end of the prior month… so, it not just changed the day but the month as well… who can help with this problem?

Speed camera recognition
Hello,
Great app but could be even better if it could read speed camera signs. In Sweden, all speed cameras must be notified well in advance of the camera's placement. There are some new cameras missing and if you can read speed camera signs and generate a speed alert, that would be outstanding. I am attaching a picture of the sign that is used as a speed camera warning.
I can send Swedish speed camera sign if you need it...Regards
Uffe

Junction mark arrow improvements
I've been using Waze so far. And it helps a lot rather than the native map. The features already improved much better lately.
But i would like to request another important improvements as follows:
- At any junction we need to define how many junction are there. And put in clear distinctive color like green and red. NOT "grey" color which is vague enough to the black header background.
Example there are 4 junction, if we take the third junction. Then the arrow color is Red Red Green Red with arrow direction pointing respectively ↰↑↗↷.
This is the only problem most users had MOST OF THE TIME!
Do not define the next junction if it is farther than 10 km away. We only need the closest junction in front which we need attentively facing, stated in Green and Red. The next 10 km junction just put in the information box, because when you replace before one immediately, we don't get it whether we already pass it or still face the previous one!
Do not put white arrow on streets that need no attention, such as an exit. This white color distract us to be attentive to the junction, while it is nothing!! Or just put in other color.
For any junction that have a very long separator (Brick or plastic separator), the junction mark must be stated twice: on the start of the separator and at the real junction.
Putting only on the junction is too late if you already choose which separator you are into! (if you don't get this one, please don't hesitate to ask me).
Thanks and great luck!

Group and sort toll passes
Austria has a general highway pass ("Vignette"), which most people have. Due to alphabetic sorting, I have to scroll down past 55 particular permits that affect very few users. And there is a "Flex" Pass allowing for tunnels etc. not included in the highway pass to be charged to my credit card.
Such general passes (also for neighboring countries), as well as the Austrian Flex Pass and e.g. German Umweltplakete should be put on top of the list, so that they are found more easily.
Slovakia, Slovenia and Czechia are at least found at the end of the list, for Hungarian pass I have to "show all" and scroll thru Baghdad, Madrid and Alabama...
