La detección de radar debe tener una opción de aviso si uno viene por debajo de la velocidad permitida.
También cuántos metros o millas antes del radar se quiere el aviso.

Give the option yo mute certain alerts.
I don't need to have an audible alert for every kind of alert. If I travel a long trip knowing a vehicle on shoulder ahead every five minutes is annoying.

Police warning
Change the police warning back to (minimally) .5 miles. Changing it to .2 miles help decrease false reports is absurd because that does absolutely nothing except give less time to be warned.

Car sentry
I would like to suggest a new feature that could enhance the security of parked vehicles and improve community-driven safety within the Waze app. The feature, which I call "Car Sentry," would allow users to register their car’s license plate within Waze. If anyone notices suspicious activity or an issue related to the registered vehicle (such as theft, damage, or an incorrectly parked car), they could quickly notify the owner through the app.
Key benefits:
Increased security: Users receive real-time notifications if their car is involved in a reported incident.

Trust based system for report longevity
Hi Waze Team,
I’d like to suggest adding a trust-based system to improve the accuracy of reports. The idea is that users who consistently receive upvotes on their reports could have their future reports trusted for a longer duration by default. This would reward reliable contributors while reducing the impact of inaccurate or spam reports.
For example, if a user frequently provides reports that receive positive feedback, their new reports could remain visible longer before requiring additional confirmations. Conversely, reports from users with a lower trust score could require more confirmations sooner.

Record audio while reporting an issue (and convert to text?)
When I'm using "report an issue" functionality in CarPlay/while driving, I cannot type what the issue is about. Later, when I'm asked by some community member what the issue is about, I have to recall what it was about and there were cases that I forgot. The issue categories got narrowed so we can't pick the exact issue while reporting it (I don't understand the removal of speed limit issue - the most common issue I'm reporting!).
Since Waze has access to my microphone, I was thinking that maybe a short recording could be made after I report an issue…

Old street closure reporting system
Previously, when reporting a street closure, Waze would allow the driver to indicate which road was closed. Now, Waze changed it to reporting a closure that the driver is currently on. This doesn't work in real-world usage because you cannot be on the road that's closed. This results into incorrect street closure reportings. Please go back to the old method of reporting a street closure.

It would be handy if we can check past police reports.
If I drove my route in the morning. Over took someone and might’ve gone slightly over.
Come that afternoon if we could look back at that location and rough time to see if police ended up being reported in that area.1 vote -

Police and radar on the side of the road
Hello. The idea would be that each time a police report is made, that it would either make an alarm or alert message at least 1000 to 2000 meters before reaching the police report or that it would add to the route a highlighted section of 1000 to 2000 meters similarly to the traffic jam report before reaching the actual police reported point. Sometimes the radar is hidden way before the visible police car, the latter being the interception unit and not the measuring unit.

A better way to identify logs
Let me add one suggestion about logs:
When sending logs from the app, in order to report a bug, name or mark them with a unique identifier and then display that identifier in the final message to the user. In this way we may make a screenshot and tell you exactly which log we sent.1 vote -

Simplify and organize the user reports
The last major change to reports have been very confusing in a few ways.
- There are redundant and overlapping reports now. E.g. there is construction blocking the right lane. Do I report that as construction then go back and report right lane blocked?
One option would be to change this to have a construction tab which would be other side, right lane, left lane, center lane, shoulder. Then the drivers would know where the construction is.
Where did the ”Car stopped on road" report go? This is MUCH more important than the car on shoulder. If a car is disabled…

Allow reporting after cap hit
Currently when reporting multiple road closures there is a cap on reports, but sometimes this is necessary e.g on my case, trying to get home during a flood event.
When the cap is hit, allow the report for that user only, so they can at least still find a route home. This will still ensure protection from abuse of the report function.1 vote
