Two arrival points for places created as Area
Currently when creating a place area as there is only one arrival point to be adjusted.
Tip: In certain types of places, especially Mall, there should be the option of adding another point of arrival because usually the Mall have more than one entry and Waze could trace the route to the nearest point of arrival at that location.
Another problem is users who create places like area and do not set the finishing point, often cause routing problems for the nearest street may be another, then my suggestion is that when created places like area WME let alone save…

Holiday based turn/traffic restrictions
Many streets, due to noise restrictions, or public leisure policies (weekend bike paths, leisure streets, etc), have their traffic/turns restricted not only on sundays, but also during holidays.
I suggest that the restrictions screen on WME have added the "Holiday" flag. This flag would be checked against countryID, stateID and/or cityID (for national, state and city holidays) in a worksheet updated by champs, so that on these days the restrictions would take place.

Put 2 fields in editor. 1 for TTS and the other for display.
This will make the display correct. While also letting the TTS read the words right. There was a time when the editors had to cheat the display so that the TTS would read right. It was hard to comprehend the display.

Create "Editor Comments" for info and notes in WME
Create a way of commenting on the Editor so that the comment is visible to other editors. A way of communicating and sharing what needs to be done. It would look like a balloon, just like Map Problems and Update Requests, but it would be created by an Editor that's got something to say to other editors. Comments are also enabled.
For example:
Editor1: "I think this Street should be changed to Primary. What do you think?"
Editor2: "I drive through it everyday and I agree."-
Editor1: "Any editors living here can confirm if this street's name is correct?"…

Translate country names to appear correctly when using the app in languages other than English
Currently when viewing a place's address (street name, city, country), the country's name always appear in English no matter what the language setting you have. This should be corrected so that the country name appear on the correct language depending on what language is set for Waze.
12 votesThank you for your suggestion! Waze now supports many local languages. Please check under Settings > General > Language.

Gravel Road Checkbox in Map Editor
An option similar to the Toll Road checkbox that would allow a street segment that's a Gravel Road to be checked off as such and would allow for more precise client preferences to avoid both dirt and gravel or just dirt roads. Many roads gravel roads are well maintained and perfectly suitable for travel, but shouldn't be marked as a Dirt Road/4x4 Trail.

Allow language change for international travelers
Hi! In our office we are big fans of WAZE and find, at least in Los Angeles, that it's superior to Google Maps and other GPS apps. Our issue? We have many frequent international travelers and in particular, when in Israel the app defaults to Hebrew and can't be changed to English. I think it would be advantageous to all if that could be made more flexible.

Show users app language setting in WME with UR's
When I see a new UR in WME, I have no idea in what language I need to address the person who made it. It could be dutch/french/english.
It would be easy if this setting would appear somewhere in the UR

I would like to change default settings in map editor - new nodes
I would like to change default settings in map editor - checking all nodes after drawing few roads takes a lot of time (shift+z, then "Q" and "W", then "ctrl+s" etc.). It would be easier if all new nodes were with "green arrows" (crossroads without any restriction - you can turn anywhere). A lot of new users forget about nodes and that's why routing doesn't work or gives strange results.

Enable Australian States and Territories to be selected in Waze Map Editor
Similar to how the USA can pick states in the editor, would be great to have the option available for Australia too. Random city names are currently showing up all over the country because there are cities with the same name with multiple locations in Australia. Enabling this option would make this go away.
3 votesGreat news! The option to select Autralian States and Territories in WME is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Permalink Keyboard shortcut
It is suggested to add a keyboard shortcut that will copy a permalink into the clipboard without the need to point on the link icon. It will make this action simpler for new WME users.
For example pressing a key (e.g. P) or CNTRL+key (after selecting the object/s).by yaacobyy

Cookies of log in
I have always wondered: I open the WME (both Prod and Beta) every day, so why do I have to log in anew almost every second day? I examined cookies of Waze, and probably found the answer.
When I open the WME, the site adds/updates the cookie "websession" (separately for beta.waze.com and www.waze.com), which expires exactly in 24 hours. So, if one day I open the WME in the morning, and the next day I open it in the afternoon, the cookie has expired, and I have to log in anew.
I suggest to increase the expire…
0 votesThe login mechanism has been changed, and now you won’t need to log in for 24 hours from your last log in.

Walking trail with one-way direction
By default, if you draw a simple walking trail, it will have just one-way direction, however you can change it by pressing "R" or enable the option "Draw new roads as two-way" and draw a new one...
But not every Editor is aware of the hotkeys, as they are only "shortcuts".
In my opinion, a walking trail should always be by default two-way (for obvious reasons, since people can always walk both ways) or at least exist some visible toggle option on walking trail proprieties to change it with just your mouse.
