  1. Add More Culture / Entertainment Subcategories

    It would be nice to have more subcategories for Culter/Entertainment venues. A couple of examples would be Bowling Alley and Arcade. When I look at bowling alleys in Waze they are flagged as the the main category, but I feel having a subcategory for them would help with users locating them.

    I don't think this is too much to ask when we have subcategories for Race Track and Theme Park which is significantly fewer in number.

    A list of culture/entertainment subcategories that come to mind that would be helpful:

    • Bowling Alley
    • Arcade
    • Mini Golf (Putt-Putt)
    • Escape Room

  3. Category for map issues

    I was driving the other day and the speed limit indicated by Waze was incorrect. I went to the map issue button in the car, but that was not one of the options for telling what the problem with the map was. The editor who handled my problem then needed to contact me just to find out what the problem with the map was. While I don't mind the contact, it would have quicker and easier for everyone if a speed limit change was an option. Where I'm currently living there is a housing boom. As new subdivisions go up,…

  4. Keep usernames in WME history instead of "inactive user"

    Whenever an user is banned or deletes his/her account or just mysteriously (!!) loses his/her account, all edits in history will be shown under name "inactive user" with a link to 404 page.

    Just, for the sake of history, please keep the original username in history and add a little remark that the account is inactive/deleted/etc..

  5. Advance warning for speed limit changes

    I drive a tracked vehicle, I need to be at the new speed limit before passing the signs. ie, 60mph dropping to 40mph, if the signs are hidden round the corner, I need to brake harder to slow down in time.

    Would it be possible to have either a visible marker on the moving map to display the different speed limit up ahead, or a warning pop up maybe 200yds in advance?

    Is necessary to enable the insertion of house numbers that are a sequence of natural numbers (Ex.: 101, 102, 103, 104, ....), which is very common in several condominiums in Brazil.

  9. Average Speed Camera Location

    Give the ability to pinpoint the location of the camera's that are being used for ASC's.

    It adds another layer of information (besides the speed check zone announcement) to the map and avoids users reporting these ANPR-camera's as regular speed camera's.

  10. Implementation of an App to be able to edit | Implementación de un App para poder editar

    Hi 👋🏼 I have a suggestion that will change completely to improve the Efficiency of all editors and it is nothing more and nothing less than to implement an app for editors that allows us to edit like google maps only that the advantage of Waze is that it is more secure and reliable by the hierarchies. having the WME tool in our palm gives us the power to edit at any time and anywhere giving more constant tracking and updates without having to wait to get home or somewhere safe.

    Drawing new road always as STREET, please have an option to draw new road as another road type other than STREET. it saves a lot of time in editing

  14. Message from a user reporting the end of a closure, does not indicate the location

    As a map editor, we can sometimes insert numerous closures in one day, due to construction or traffic events.
    When a user reports that a closure is no longer active, I, as the editor who created it, receive a message in my application. However, this message only indicates the information that the user reported. Example: “This road is not closed”
    This does not provide additional information, such as the name of the road or even the location’s PL. If I create a lot of closures, I can’t identify which location it is.

  15. Add km and miles distance to the navigation screen

    Please, update the app to show the distance with both km and miles at the same time.
    On the bottom of the navigation screen (after setting the destination) there is plenty of space, I grew up on a country that uses km, now I live in the US that uses miles, but it will take a long time to get used to it, therefore showing both simultaneously (e.g 10 mi / 16 km) would be perfect!

  16. The Speed Limit Icon is difficult to be seen. It could be same size as the Actual Speed Icon size.

    I'm 69 Y/O My car (Audi Q5) has a small Apple Car Play screen. The Speed Limit Icon (Square White and Black) is difficult to be seen. Its size is to small. It could have the same size of the Actual Speed Icon (Round Black and red). The map allouds to bear a little bit bigger the Sped Limit Icon. IS it possible to increase it? Thank you for your support.   17. Currently, only a maximum of 2 routes can be used, but please increase this to a maximum of 20 routes.

  18. I want a button to be added to the app to switch between 3D and 2D

    I would like to see a button added to the map screen to quickly switch from 3D to 2D and from 2D to 3D.

  19. place destination counter for the last 30 days

    Selecting a Waze place could show the amount of route requests in the last 30 days that had the exact Waze place as a destination.

    This would be quite informative and could give us editors an insight on how demanded an entry is.

  20. Save changes as a draft

    The "save as draft" button keeps the changes made but not yet saved, so that they can be resumed at a later time or continued on another device.
