As a volunteer who regularly responds to user reports - it would greatly help us if users add sufficient details to the original report instead of us having to ask for it sometimes many days later.

The WME Map Editor screen doesn't show reports instantaneously -- it may be a couple hours, and as we all have regular (paying) jobs, it may take several days to respond.

I agree with Drew's comment: the Waze server should apply fuzzy logic to analyze the initial report to determine if it contained enough information, then prompt the user to add details at the end of the drive. Or at a stop light.

You already can "thumbs down" a police report.

Waze does not map traffic lights. They are re-working the reporting feature to be hands-free.

We have this available now. Contact your local editing community (search the Waze Wazeopedia) to see if this can be implemented on a case-by-case basis

I see a potential problem with this: if not all roads are mapped. Or if there is a very short distance between mapped roads / exit ramps

For Carplay or Android Auto upvote these suggestions to allow submitting road closures.

They need to integrate Map Issue Reports with Google Assistant. "Ok Google, Report Map Issue." Then prompt the driver for details via voice-to-text.

There is "Google Assistant" to report hazards.

also, in my opinion there are too many Map Issue report categories. Require reporters to add a comment detailing the issue!

It's been noted that LiveMap doesn't need a driver to be moving to provide a route. The caveat is if they are on a divided road (and the road has not been divided).
