Maybe I'm just lucky, but places where waze tends to give me "wrong" instructions also seem to coincide with places with poor coverage. When I ignore waze telling me to do something stupid it then reroutes ... only it can't contact the routing server. Waze needs to fall back to client/phone based routing a lot quicker and not freeze the whole app whilst waiting for the routing server to respond (or not).

Waze generally still has issues in areas with poor coverage.

Killing the app and restarting it is not viable in areas with poor coverage. Upon restarting the app it can take Waze several minutes (and several miles) before it starts working fully again. Often I know how to get to the gas station but need waze to tell me where to go after I fill up.

I'm in the vavigation voice deafens me camp. So much so that I almost always have voice navigation muted just so I don't cause an accident by (literally) jumping when I get to the exit 40km up the highway.
In town it just drowns out any music I'm listening to ... but it still much better than the "I'm talking sooo slooow so that by the time I finish telling you which way to go you will be waaaaay past the intersection" that some other gps apps seem to like.
