   Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

   Speed limits are added by editors by means of Waze Map Editor. Using phone cameras to detect limits on the fly would be a feature complex to implement and unreliable to use given the circumstances.
