You can do that by "adding a stop" in the middle of the route. If you make your inquiry but DO NOT select a specific location from the list and hit enter, it will show you all possibilities for that business type along the route with the amount of time off the route it is, along with the distance away from your current location.
That number is infinite, so impossible to do...maybe you want to see all the fastest and shortest options to make a decision? If so, let Waze make the suggestion then hit the blue "routes" button at the bottom of the screen. It will show you several options which you can choose from.
