Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

Today I was in the parking lot for my destination and Waze kept saying; turn right, then turn left... turn right, then turn left... turn right, then turn left... over and over. After yelling at the app to shut up! I ended up restarting my phone in order to get it to stop. Please, offer an option to turn off the voice.

I searched for a chain of stores. Knowing that the first offered is usually the closest, and not being familiar with the area, I picked the first one without looking at the address. After about 15 minutes I sensed something was wrong. It was trying to take me to a location in a city over an hour away. Even though there are several locations in town. My suggestion; dont offer search results in other cities unless there are nine nearby, it if I specify neither city.

The way waze is set up; first I have to tell it there is construction, then tell it which direction of which intersection is closed, and you want me to do this while driving. Make it easier. There should be an easy button for I cannot go the way you are telling me anymore because of construction; one button to select, that's all.
