option to turn voice navigation OFF while using navigation on regular route
as above, would still want voice alerts for traffic issues BUT no turn by turn voice navigation, display on phone only.

Also make it so you can turn off the "Speed limit decrease ahead" notification that is annoying as ...

Today I was in the parking lot for my destination and Waze kept saying; turn right, then turn left... turn right, then turn left... turn right, then turn left... over and over. After yelling at the app to shut up! I ended up restarting my phone in order to get it to stop. Please, offer an option to turn off the voice.

It would be good if you had some options on your settings for the Satnav to turn off once you get to a certain location.
As a new driver I dont know my way to most places however when I get to a certain point I no longer need a sat nav but there is no law to turn it off whilst driving, you could put somthing in place when you get to a certain place it turns off.
I know I could just put the Satnav to where I know the way however it wouldnt turn off from that point after I pass it and would just tell me to turn back around

The direction guidance (with words) can for some be an annoyance and it cuts down on the available map view in landscape mode - please allow us a choice (on iphone at least)

When putting in destination have choice to limit navigation to only portions of the journey. I may be in a strange place and not know how to get on the route home, or I may be home, know how to get close to my destination but not the last few miles.
Ideally WAZE would offer options for different distances. -

On my iPhone I had the option to turn off voice guidance, which I used frequently since 90% of my driving is in familiar areas where don't need to know every turn. With that option on I could just glance on the app occasionally to see if there are deviations from the usual route.
On Android, this option doesn't exist.
